Sub-prime, mortgage foreclosure, situation. That proposal EXCLUDES those homes / mortgages that are CURRENTLY in the foreclosure process and those which have previously been foreclosed on, approx 2.8 MILLION !
My question : How soon before Hillary comes up with a plan for tax payers to 'pay', / 'bailout' those whom Pres. Bush's program does not cover / include ?

So first they get illegals to buy American homes with no money down and no payment on the principle, with a sub-prime rate that isn't fixed, then they want US to pay when they get in trouble?
SORRY!
Throw our ALL THOSE DECEIVERS and elect TRUE conservatives in their place. NOT THOSE PHONY REPUBLICANS (Bush for instance) that want you to redefine what a conservative is.
When was the last time they bailed YOU out?
Let the chips fall where they may!
NO BAIL-OUT!
Let those greedy lenders take the loss for a change.

Well, for starters, you totally misunderstand the program which was announced to assist those facing foreclosures.

There is NO taxpayer funding involved. It is merely an agreement hammered out between Treasury Secretary Paulson and various large lenders to freeze current rates on some adjustable rate mortgages so that folks can continue to pay what they are currently paying and keep their homes.

What should be done about those who were previously foreclosed ? Take the houses back from the new owners who paid for them and return them to the former owners ?

Please.....stop to think about what you post BEFORE you post.

The Bush Administration is bailing out the lenders, not the borrowers. All their plan does is delay the big interest jump for 5 years, I believe. The borrowers will still have to pay off the entire loan.

Hilliary was for it and voiced her solution way before Bush. Listen to her opinion. What a joke.

with typical do-nothing attitudes, the so called help plan will not do a thing for those who need it. it is only a sham for the administration to brag about.
