It is so shameful.

Toby Keith says the USO will accept anyone with talent willing to go to Afghanistan. Can''t some people be decent enough to set politics aside to entertain the men and women who put their lives on the line for us?

I intend to find out which celebrities were approached and declined. I then plan to never spend one penny to support their careers again.

That's nice of the USO, but the bottom line is, they don't pay enough (nothing) to buy modern day entertainers and THAT is all modern day entertainers are concerned with.

It's a shame that they have no social conscience, or sense of patriotism but the truth is that they don't.

Some do. USO type tours noted for couple Country/Western groups to Iraq around July 4th, Couple others have tour notes as being in Iraq area- kuwait for Christmas. Some leftist/Democrat activist entertainers vocal about not going, some others quietly go to field to entertain.

Having served in the military for 20 years, I mostly seen entertainers with Conservative values entertaining the troops.

I did however see a few entertainers with Liberal values also entertain the troops.

Because most need a audience, and most of their careers are over.

Britney Spears will probably be on the USO tour next year.

US entertainers? politicians are just entertainers and they entertain our troops, were it not for George many of those men would be bored sitting in their houses with their friend watching TV and drinking beer. But he put on a good act and....Bingo.....4 years of Iraq Entrainment. and it keeps you entertained defending it.

Al Franken, from liberal Air America, has done several USO shows already. Several other US entertainers have done also.

How many has Bill Oreilly done?

US entertainers do not support the war and it is the reason that they do not want to entertain the troops.

Conservative Republican entertainers do go and entertain our troops, but the Liberal Democrat's are to busy giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
