I know a lot of people seem to hate this guy and call him a liar, but yet I don't think I have ever heard what was it that was in that movie that was the bold face lie(s) he was supposed to have uttered.

I watched the film and it all seemed factual to me. It just seemed to mostly be a lot of behind the scene stuff that most americans did not know about because they were not reported greatly by the mainstream media. To me it looks like he is hated for simply telling what really really happened and really was going on. Why would americans hate a fellow citizen for speaking the truth about what is going in their government and on top of that call him a liar?

we were talking about communism in my political science class, and that it would be great if you could actually get to true communism and not the crap, that happen in the soviet union, china, and cuba. with true communism there would be no need for a government.

do not say anything about china, cuba or soviet union just talk about communism and why no one can ever reach true communism

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a Republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my Country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Returning here from it is EASY. If the Back button doesn't seem to do it with a single click, just click *rapidly* on it, and you'll come right back. (I have no control over that function, but that's how to do it.)

FBI has more than doubled the number of people nationwide who are prohibited from buying guns because of mental health problems.

Okay - let’s think about this for a second.

If these people cannot be trusted with a firearm - then, why are they out walking around? Surely it follows they should not be allowed in public.

Further, they have undoubtedly had their names stricken from voter rolls, yes? For this is a much more dangerous activity.

And, nobody at the DOT is going to let them drive a car, obviously.

..the Second Amendment is neither relevant nor useful. Rather, it has become an impediment to vital public policy, and it should be repealed and replaced with nuanced federal legislation.

In the context of today’s society, the Second Amendment is outdated. Constitutional debates over its interpretation stand in the way of the implementation of pressing public policy.

Yea, and that pesky 1st Amendment is outdated too, right libs? Free Speech was for a time back when when the printing press was the major mode of communication. The Founders certainly never envisioned Al Gore's greatest creation -- the Internet

We all have our partsian political views, and a lot of answers on Yahoo and in debate and the media in general are based on simpistic biases and stupidity, and I would like to get above that. I have my own views, but I am curious on what general perception and thought are.

What specific policies that the Democrats or Republicans are advocating do you think would help the economy? Please explain why and how such policies would improve the economy. No "Bush is dumb" or "Dems are Commies" answers please.

They think the War is a Delight. They think George Bush talks to God. They like a Decider making decisions for them, ignoring our laws. They excuse lies and corruption, even though they think Liberals are immoral. Many of them reply to sensible posts about the war and corruption with name-calling, insults and personal jabs. One fellow even replied in a long post, asking if he was "going too fast for me?" even though 20 years in the newspaper business has taught me to handle smug loudmouths with ease and I could easily debunk his ideas. Why can't these young Conservatives behave with civility and intelligence? What makes them think they have the right to treat others with disrespect, contempt, etc., simply because you have a different political opinion? It can't be their upbringing? It can't be their intelligence, because they are a bright young bunch, but they seem to have forgotten their manners. Are politics the reason they abandon all that their parents must have taught them?

These things are definitely very liberal ideas.

When you really think about the crop of Democratic candidates for president, it's clear that their best hope to win in 2008, is not even on the playing field. That current, non-candidate is Al Gore. He's the only one who can match the experience, accomplishments and gravitas of Rudy Giuliani and yet, the left ignores him.

He served in the House of Representatives for eight years, followed by eight years as a U.S. senator, followed by eight years as Vice President of the United States. In 2000, as the Democratic nominee for president, he won the popular vote by a plurality. Oh yeah, in 2007, his movie won an Academy Award and he also won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Seems to me, his resume is more formidable than the top three current democratic candidates combined.

What say you?
