And that is why the South is now Republican country? It was called the "Southern Strategy".

HERE IS A FORMER CHAIRMAN OF THE GOP (((ADMITTING IT)))

GOP: 'We were wrong' to play racial politics

Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman apologized to one of the nation's largest black civil rights groups Thursday, saying Republicans had not done enough to court blacks in the past and had exploited racial strife to court white voters, particularly in the South.

"Some Republicans gave up on winning the African-American vote, looking the other way or trying to benefit politically from racial polarization," Mehlman said at the annual convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. "I am here today as the Republican chairman to tell you we were wrong."

Considering Lincoln freed the slaves, how come there are zero black Republicans in congress?

The only black Republicans in government today weren't elected into office. They were appointed. Condi, Colin Power, etc.

Al Qaeda used the Muslim train bombing terrorists in Spain (11-M) just prior to their national election to influence the election outcome in Al Qaeda's favor, giving Spanish marxist-socialist elements of the society a golden opportunity in the process.

Al Qaeda desperately wants to gain political power in Iraq, a self-described major battlefield against the West. An Islamist takeover in Iraq would be an ultimate victory for their cause.

Which Democratic POTUS candidates are in the best interest of Al Qaeda and other Islamist terrorist entitites, candidates that may be covertly endorsed and funded by Al Qaeda and Co.?

To the utter and complete dismay of the Democrat party and those in the mainstream media, it now appears as though the surge is working.

Just last September, General Petraeus and his staff warned Democrats that things were getting better, and that even more progress could be expected as the surge continued to unfold.

But Democrats would have none of that.

What say you?

Over-intensive logging means that the African wood used to make Scotland's national instrument faces being wiped out.

Everyone makes President Bush sound like a bad man! why? In the following link he is shown running with U.S. Army soldier Mike McNaughton. Bush visited Mike at the hospital, and told him that when he could run a mile he would go running with him. Bush called Mike every month to see if he was ready. Over a year and a half later Bush fulfills his promise when Mike felt he could run. WHY WAS THIS NEVER ON THE COMMUNIST NEWS NETWORKS?

On a day that a new poll said Obama leads in Iowa, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton suggested her rival has character issues.

When a reporter asked whether she is suggesting Obama has “issues of character, the New York senator said, “I’m going to let voters make that decision but it’s beginning to look a lot like that. It really is.”

Enron started out as a natural gas pipeline company, well, all the natural gas pipelines are owned by exxon.

Can you imagine that all those people worked at Enron, had their retirements in Enron stocks, and all the while Exxon and Bush knew full well that they were going to load Enron up with all Exxon's debt so when it folded Exxon would have that much less debt and had stolen everyone's retirement money to boot.

No wonder Bush was so friendly with Ken Lay, They were all silent partners in the same Exxon scam.

Up until Thursday it was the war, but since Congress Murtha pulled out the rug on the Democrats by saying "the surge is working".

This week the Democrats will come out swinging saying "restoring the American dream for millions of our nation’s working families has been the central priority".

So they will use the economy as their number one priority, since they can't use the war anymore.

It seems to me that the world is now so complex (and in many ways terrifying) and there is so much incoming information that people gravitate toward leaders who do not trouble themselves with nuance or factual complexities.

In addition, there is more of a tendency to rely on commentators, such as Rush Limbaugh, to "make sense" of things, because they can't read a few news stories and compare differing perspectives.

(There should be about four sets of quotation marks around the phrase, "make sense.")

By self serving, socialist politically orientated 'new comers', who have insulted the integrity of American political Integrity.
There is a way you can help rid today's Democrat Party High Jackers / Socialists, and remain anonymous !!
Silently say nothing 'official', maintain an air of decorum, and inteligence, and Vote Against the High Jackers !!
Yes, I know this is a 'bitter pill' to swallow, but you have been 'transgressed up[on / feed scatology' and with the assistance of the Reps, WE CAN AGAIN, REGAIN THAT WHICH HAS BEEN STOLEN FROM ALL AMERICANS !!! Remember, the two (minimum) party system is what made the USA GREAT !!!
Now my political question :: WILL YOU AT LEAST CONSIDER THIS PROPOSAL ??
I'M HERE is worried about the future sanctacy of our country !

I hate to see a Great Party ignoring the Workers and pandering to the Work-shy and the un-productive "intellectuals".
At one time it was a proud boast to be a "Blue Collar Worker" But NOW the people who actually work, and pay taxes, and want the best for their children are treated with contempt.
While the best wages are given to a bunch of Politically Correct nonentities who can "Talk the Talk" !
Or the Workers Taxes are squandered on whingeing and whining "Minorities" and "Victims"

I've seen the claim made on their board that everyone has access to medical care because ER's cannot turn people away. Ok fair enough, but that is really only access to acute care and doesn't include follow-up care.

Does everyone have access to long-term care for chronic diseases, such as diabetes, cancer, mental illness, AIDS, or the like? What about dental?

I really don't know one way or the other. Can people offer insight, preferably with sources?
