Man, I havent been on very long today and the left seems to be out in full force spewing their hatred and lies. I see blueridge saying how the left is superior and a blue guy saying we only see the world as "us vs them." I dont know, but I would def. say today the left is the one spewing its propaganda and doing all the name calling.....Anyone else agree?

We were born to mothers who smoked and drank
Our cribs were covered in lead based paint
No child proof lids, no seat belts in cars
Rode bikes with no helmets and still here we are, still here we are
We got daddy’s belt when we misbehaved
Had three TV channels you got up to change
No video games and no satellite
All we had were friends and they were outside, playin’ outside

It was a different life
When we were boys and girls
Not just a different time
It was a different world

School always started the same every day
The pledge of allegiance then someone would pray
Not every kid made the team when they tried
We got disappointed and that was all right, we turned out all right

It was a different life
When we were boys and girls
Not just a different time
It was a different world

No bottled water, we drank from a garden hose
And every Sunday, all the stores were closed

It was a different life
When we were boys and girls
Not just a different time
It was a different world

It was a different life
When we were boys and girls
Not just a different time
It was a different world

It was a different world

Has George W. Bush done anything well during his seven year stint as the most powerful man in the world? I would love some keen insight here... a list preferably (however short, lol). From the Katrina disaster, to 911, to the war Iraq, to the failing American dollar, to the housing collapse... I mean good God... But to quote a popular cliche, even a broken clock is right two times a day.

Honestly? I never do. I think it's a little rude of people to ask me how I voted and frankly none of their business. I was just wondering who actually stops and talks about it?

It certainly is a painful wake-up call to everyone in the working class who thought capitalism could work for them. They won't get fooled again.

MSNBC is in negotiations with Rosie for her to "host" a 9:00PM "news" show.Their reasoning is that they want to make an effort to put forth the far Lefts agenda.
Anyone else bothered by this?
Rosie: the woman who says with all sincerety that fire CANNOT melt steel.

Whenever a negative comment is made about Bush, the invasion of Iraq, and all the dead and wounded American soldiers, Cons come back with, "Clinton got a BJ in the Oval Office". Is this some sort of twisted morality to put these two issues on the same level of importance?

I am a teacher in an English secondary school.

Last month in the teacher's staff room I stated my opinion that women are, on average, of lower intelligence than men.

I have now been suspended, pending further investigation.

I've never had any complaints about my teaching and have never been accused of treating male and female students differently.

Can you now not saying anything, or be honest about your opinions, in case you offend someone?
