LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!! NO! Don't criminals who, for the most part break into homes, that are "Gun Free"? Don't criminals with guns weed their way into what used to be "safe" neighborhoods with almost no crime? Have not criminals caused "good" families to move away from their neighborhoods, to find a good one, since criminals have taken over their territory?

I have moved several times from the downtown area, more east,, and more east, and more east, away from crime as it spreads more east, and more east.....If a criminal can buy a gun, illegally, what would make anyone think they couldn't enter a "Gun Free Zone" with a gun, illegally?

Criminals from Mexico get into America illegally all the time, now, don't they, with guns, and stolen items?

Best funny I have heard in two days posted here. Thank you so very much. I won't even go into the obvious !!

edit : It also works well in New Zealand. Police do not carry side arms either.
They have violent crime just not gun related nor accidental shootings of innocent victims caught in the cross fire.

No. Crime is a social problem. Until you get to the root causes that motivates criminals and work from there to get them on a positive track no amount of laws will curb their desire for violence.

BTW, I hate guns but I'm not stupid enough to believe that putting a gun in a law abiding persons hands will suddenly turn them into wanton criminals.

Only if you use them as a trap to capture homicidal psychos. Let's see I'm about to go out and hunt humans, do I, A) go to a gun show or a biker bar, or B) go to a university that is a gun free zone. You figure it out.

Nope. Everybody ought to carry them on their hip, like in the old west.

That way, when another Va Tech breaks out, the good guys in the white hats can ride up and take 'em down.

Of course, in the confusion, a thousand kids would get killed in the crossfire...

...but hey, they're just liberal, "edu-macated" college kids, so what good are they anyway, right?

A "gun free zone"...yeah...that does it...

If you were a psychopath...would a "gun free zone" sign make you look at things in a different way?

All it means is that a criminal can be sure that all the law abiding citizens will be unarmed in the "zone".

No.

For the same reason I don't believe pacifism will combat terrorism.
