Another Bush Derangement Syndrome sufferer.
Perhaps you've forgotten the Carter Administration?
Perhaps you're just still sore because Clinton was impeached and you can't find anything to impeach Bush for?
Perhaps you just have so little real touch with reality that you really DO believe Bush is responsible for all these things?
Let's see...
1. Katrina was not a government experiment in hurricane creation to destroy New Orleans and kill minorities... and if the DEMOCRATIC Governor had declared a state of emergency to allow the federal government to help out... or if the DEMOCRATIC mayor had made evacuation mandatory and bused the people out (instead of calling them all drug dealers and declaring New Orleans a 'chocolate city') then it might not have been anywhere near as bad. Funny how they don't even get mention... it's all Bush's fault.
2. 9/11? Are you one of those fools who believe he was behind it? Tell me you're not someone so utterly deranged you believe that it was a government conspiracy! I won't even dignify such an idiotic notion with a response... all the BS has been thoroughly debunked a hundred times already.
3. The Iraq war was a mistake? Really? Want to tell that to one of the family members of a Saddam victim? I'd love to see you try justifying your position to them... "we never should have gone in there and stopped that nice man from using nerve toxins on you and your family for opposing him or being the wrong type of Iraqi" Pathetic. The invasion of Iraq was not a negative... but a positive. Too bad the UN sat on their thumbs so long that Saddam had a time to move his SCUDs to Syria... but hey, at least he's dead now and can't kill any more innocent people just because they aren't Sunni. I love when Libs call it an illegal war. It shows their hypocrisy. If they really believe that crap, then they don't support the troops, because that makes them criminals... unless they Do support criminals... whoa, wait... there's Sandy Berger... ok, explains a lot.
4. The failing American Dollar is as much Bush's fault as it is yours. If you want someone to blame, why not put down your DNC propaganda book and read up on why the housing market is what it is and who got rich off the scams and schemes that created the current slowdown in economics.
You might learn something.
5. Bush stopped the Democratic Congress from cutting the supply lines to our troops and leaving them stranded high and dry... stopped them from passing SCHIP expansions that would give illegal immigrants free healthcare on the dime of the American people who are working legitimately... created the department of homeland security and kept the US from being attacked here again after 9/11... has rooted out many terrorists and incarcerated them... and I know you Liberals don't want to believe this, but he's also gotten 3x the Congressional approval rating.
Go ahead, Liberals... get out the thumbs down... but the truth is still the truth even if you don't want to face it.

Lower taxes, the war on terror.
Katrina was not his problem, that was Louisiana's failure.
9/11 was not his fault.
The war in Iraq is a good thing.
He has almost no control over the dollar. All the president can do is appoint a fed chairman and veto Congresses spending.
The housing collapse had nothing to do with Bush or any arm of the government. That was entirely market based.
This is the problem with people like you. You don't have any clue about how our government, or economy, or real life works. So you just blame whoever you hate for anything you don't like or don't understand. Please tell me you aren't old enough to vote.
Hopefully someday you will get over your blind, irrational hatred and start recognizing real life for what it is.
Please, grow up and get educated.

it is very subjective. i comprehend there would be an incredible variety of human beings who will say George W. Bush, yet history nevertheless needs to decide him first. it must be Warren G. Harding. His administration replaced into very corrupt. it would additionally be Jimmy Carter. He does not play politics with congress and proved inept during the Hostage disaster in Iran. he's a robust first rate man or woman and that's what makes him the applicable ex-president ever.

If you were not alive or old enough to remember the disaster of Jimmy Carter's 4 years, I'll overlook your hyperbole.
The short list -
The second gas crisis
The Panama Canal giveaway
18% interest rates
Recession
Amnesty for Vietnam draft dodgers who fled to Canada.
And if all of that weren't bad enough, I didn't even mention the worst thing he did.
Yes King George has had his share of foul ups, but the housing collapse isn't one of them. That was caused primarily by mortgage lenders' greed.

Here's another one of Bush's failures (and anyone who put him into office): His choice for V.P. Dick Cheney dealt with Miramar (Burma's leaders) for oil business through Haliburton. I'm sure everyone was so astonished to hear about Miramar's harsh treatment of peaceful monks, but Cheney knew this government's practices and still did business with them years ago. Maybe you should understand the people you put in office a little more than just their party affiliation. I'm not directing that at the question asker, I'm directing it at the answerers who constantly defend their party like it's there favorite football team or something...

If Gore had won in 2000, (I mean if he had been elected...oops, I mean, if he had more pull with Sandra O'Connor), he wouldn't have had the time to make his oscar-winning movie and sway world opinion about the reality of global warming.
So I guess we can thank Bush for that.
EDIT: What's with the thumbs down? I actually said something NICE about Bush!

So, Bush is responsible for hurricanes, subprime loans, and the trade imbalance. Are you really that uniformed or do you just play a liberal on TV?
