It's for the same reason they also want to change the definitions of peace, democracy, and liberalism: to keep the paranoid, sheepish masses under control and to achieve their goal of global dominance.

It does not. we are freeing the civilian Iraqis and killing the terrorists. Or attempting, besides. There could be some collateral injury, yet it relatively is been actual in each conflict. through fact while did Liberals end understanding that? Bush isn't doing issues against the shape. Bush could be doing issues people do no longer choose him to, yet he's barely doing what he pronounced he'd do while we voted for him. in case you do no longer like it, you do not have voted for him. in case you probably did no longer vote for him, then you certainly misplaced the election. manage it.

In my opinion, it's because the word "freedom" is widely misused and misunderstood. It's something we're taught to defend and be proud of when, in fact, we enjoy very few freedoms without serious repercussions. For example, you're free to travel; just make sure you return in time. You're free to work in a foreign country, but for a very limited time and only after completing a mountain of paperwork. You're free to speak out, but watch it! Big Brother & the neighbours are listening and, depending on your level of influence, Cheez, you may wake up dead, or at least ostracized in your own community.

Stoopid stoopid stoopid neo/cons..Read the question please, or have you forgotten how, or maybe you never learned. He did not say anything about himself, he does not need to provide an example of how his freedoms were compromised. We are not as self centered as you. We care about the rights of other people esp. as defined in the constitution. You want an example, go to Guantanamo prison and you will find many examples of people who have been denied their right to a fair trial. You need to "walk a mile" in one of those people's shoes who are innocent and then see how you feel about the robber baron in the white house

Freedom is never free. It has to be earned and fought for.

But liberals want to take freedom through legislation and policy of government. Why?

Oh and if you say where's the proof, universal health care, over taxation for the redistribution of wealth, thousands of pages of rules and regulations, and the biggest of all, the Fairness Doctrine.

I think you need to change your question just a bit. While neocons continue to fight for freedoms, liberals attempt to steal it. Maybe you should ask why do liberals want to steal our freedom?

I think people define freedom the same.

Where they differ is in what it means to them as an individual, and how best to preserve it.

Please cite some sources of where freedoms were taken away from American citiens. Or give me examples of something you yourself can no longer do, due to removals of freedoms.

The facts are 'neocons' are more about freedoms then liberals.

I've not been deprived of a single right since Bush has been in office; but, under Hillary's first two terms, it was demanded that diversity and multiculturalism be accepted, unless litigation was your wish.

(thanks, bill and hillary for appointing Jamie Gerelick)
