Do you think that the intelligence aquired by its use is truthful or accurate? DO you think that is is morally justified to become as savage as the enemy in attempting to beat that enemy?

Since I see on allot of forums that people think that questioning the morality of torture makes us look weak. But I ask you how strong do you have to be to beat a person silly, and make them think that they are drowning, when you have them locked away and out manned?

I didn't do well in school and all my friends tell me I'm not very bright but everybody seems to like me (i'm not very confrontational, I have a way of telling people what they want to hear.) I don't really have any special skills or talents. I do have alot of ambition and I want to make lots of money.

Should I go into politics?

Why have they not done the one thing they were suppose to do . Going from electing republicans to democrats is just not getting the job done anymore .
Politicians have taken to outright deception and fraud as far as I am concerned .
Why when we elected the democrats have they not pushed the war issue much harder and gotten some results .

DO you feel as cheated and abused as I do .

Ron Paul gets my money. We have to stop bombing human beings?
If you republicans are as economically bankrupt as you are morally bankrupt, you can contribute nothing.

Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called "Gifts to the United States." This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs. These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government. Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below.

He also avoids the death tax by giving his money away by giving it to charity when he dies. Yup, he sure thinks the Treasury deserves more money alright.

Bush has detroyed the americans reputation internationally.

The US once seen as a powerful country that defended the small and lived for peace, freedom and prosperity. Now its seen as a powerfull country that takes whatever it wants, when it wants it.

The US does not respect the UN, the OAS, did not respect Irak, etc. There is no one that can face against the US without great suffering and the US seems to take advantage of it.

But even so he got reelected. Does this mean that americans are bellicose? I keep hearing that "American people is one thing but american goverment is another!" or that "americans are very much against the goverment actions" Yet the people voted again for this goverment.

Can any one explain how come Bush was supported by american people after he had comitted one of the biggest attrocities in modern history with Irak?

Some of you won't be able to answer because I don't know who has been reporting me and I have OVER-Blocked users. This is too sad for commentary. For the rest of you, some really smart people have lost their accounts due to reporting by trolls who disagree with them in the politics section.. Is that how we want YA to work?

Almost there! No surprise, though, with a couple of oil men in the the most influential jobs in the nation. I'd love to know how much richer they've become these past few years when their decisions could influence the price of oil. How can people not understand this?

The nominee for Attorney General, Michael Mukasey, is facing tough questions about water boarding, whether it should be considered torture or not.
Tell me, what do you think Al Quida, the Taliban or other terrorists think about this? Do you think they will change their ways and become our friends if the nominee calls water boarding torture and vows to stop it or do you think they are laughing hysterically as they make more IED's and bomb vests?

I noticed that many people, regardless of political affiliation, are bothered by the "press one for English" ordeal. It used to bother me until I realized that Europeans speak 3 or 4 different languages. Yet, many Americans can't even master the English language. Wouldn't it be great if America became more cultured and more affluent in other languages.
However, many people believe learning Spanish enables illegal immigrants. They also believe that this is an English speaking country. But what's wrong with broadening ourselves like the Europeans?! What's your opinion?!

This question is for a genius .

This is the pay rate for a judge in my county The $140,000 I mentioned in the question .
.
It gets tricky and only a genius can answer this right .

How if my taxes are used to pay them can they even pay a tax with money they got from taxes I paid . Lets say I had to pay their entire salary for the year $140,000.00 If they pay 30% or so in taxes to the government then $43,000 . or so would go back to the government .
" SO I really only would have to pay $97,000. for the Judge saving me $43,000."
Now cops make about $43,000. a year And we will say you pay for their wages -----pretend you are rich and can for a moment .
Now the Cop pays about $12,000. a year to the government .
SO lets see the two of us paid in $183,000. and they only got to keep $128,000. so where is the missing $55,000. we paid out to them in the first place .

Help me here and you play with the numbers and explain it to me .

Which do you consider the greater evil, What the US did to Kahlid Sheik Mohammed, or what his renegades did on 9/11, and what they plan to do to us in the future?

If you believe that what the terrorist did is the greater evil, then what we do to their leaders should be the lesser of two evils, right?

my arguments are,dems/libs say that women have the right to do what they please with their body, freedom to have an abortion.I agree, then should not the same right be extended to men who join the military to use their body to kill the population of a country they are sent to control, example if an unborn child not considered a human by dems/libs, still are they not a living mass of cells true or false,i say that any civilian,or combatan dem/lib,ally killed by a soldier, is simply a mass of living cells which dems/libs, argue are are not human,so what is the problem, why are dems/libs upset about the amount of U.S. troops that are killed, and the amount of their muslim civilian allies are killed,if you go by dems/lib rules it should equal out in the wash!
