why do democrats/liberals defend abortion,yet oppose war?

my arguments are,dems/libs say that women have the right to do what they please with their body,freedom to have an abortion.I agree,then should not the same right be extended to men who join the military to use their body to kill the population of a country they are sent to control,example if an unborn child not considered a human by dems/libs, still are they not a living mass of cells true or false,i say that any civilian,or combatan dem/lib,ally killed by a soldier, is simply a mass of living cells which dems/libs, argue are are not human,so what is the problem,why are dems/libs upset about the amount of U.S. troops that are killed,and the amount of their muslim civilian allies are killed,if you go by dems/lib rules it should equal out in the wash!

tompink the poor are poor because dem/libs are once again become slave masters,those on gov assits should be forced to complete an h.s. school education,and then a college education,or trade education,example,jet engine repair,so as to free themselves of the democrats slave mentality, instead of sitting at home waiting for the dem/libs slave master check to arrive,democrat slogan i will provide you with free health care.free housing,free food,free education(right),free transportation,just vote for me your slave master democrat,you don`t need to be a proud contributing citizen to society,you can just be my slave,as you once were before the civil war,that was begun by republicans to free you,from us democrats,but do not worry we have learned you do not have to work now to be taken care of just vote democrat,we will take care of you!

It isn't war we oppose. It's Iraq. Afghanistan is prudent and the President was 100% correct in his move to oust the Taliban and got after OBL. Now what happened was Bush diverted from the important goal of getting OBL for Iraq - a huge mistake.

As for abortion, it is a matter of personal freedom. We don't want the government, armed with anti-abortion goon squads, interfering with personal decisions.

So it's apples and oranges, my friend. One could also say why are cons against abortion and for capital punishment? While there is some tiny link there, those, too, are apples and oranges.

Well, conservatives make a big fuss about abortions, which aren't even necessary for most smart people, but don't seem to give a flip about all the poor, neglected children that have been born to broken or abusive homes. I see how Republican supporters in general are against providing health care to millions of poor Americans, including children.
I don't oppose all war. I just want to go after the real enemy, not just start shooting someone who looks similar.

I think you are mislead by the radicals. Democrats do not oppose war. I supported the war. I do not support what we are doing in Iraq now. I am really confused as to what it is. If we are trying to help build a Democracy for a people that doesn't want one, I am against it. If we are over there to draw out terrorists and kill them, fine with me. Just tell me the real reason.

I am a very liberal Democrat and I am against unnecessary abortion and against unnecessary war.

The #1 cause of abortion, is, was, and always will be the stigma on unwed mothers from the conservative right. All good, decent, honest, patriotic conservatives with an IQ over 75 admit this. Both of them.
