Reading these answers it is pretty obvious that many have relied upon FOX Noise for their facts.
FACT: Valerie Plame was working as a undercover agent for the CIA. This has been verified by her station chief and the head of the CIA himself under oath to the Congress.
FACT: Her named was leaked to the press by Libby and Armitage as a direct result of her husbands op ed article concerning the lies being spread about the yellow cake uranium. Here it seems very clear that Libby and Armitage did this not on their own by through direct OK from Rove and Cheney. Under the Constitution this is an act of treason, punishable by death.

Republicans are such hypocrites.
They will probably say she is not a real republican because Valerie Plame was critical of George Bush's handling of the war.

Yes, it was treason but more seriously what was the real the reason why? They're almost trying to cook a false pretext to attack Iran and this was meant to harm the honest part of intelligence service as to what is happening in relation to nukes-- so they may now be able to generate their falsehoods as a pretext to attack unchallenged . This really is worthy of the Third Reich.

Act of treason? I guess they have a new definition of it now and nobody told me.
I suggest you talk to Richard Armitage before you ask any more uninformed questions.
I thought she was working against nuclear proliferation. Now she was looking for wmds? When did this change?

The fact is that Valerie was little more than a file clerk with the CIA. She gained a little fame and hopes to turn it into fortune by being good looking and playing the victim. Blondes don't work undercover in Iraq, for all too obvious reasons.

The truth is her husband set her up. The media knew that she was a spy before they got it from Libby& Friends... Still it was low of them to let the information slip. It was even more low of her husband to set her up to be caught.
