I went into a McDonalds last night, and there were not one, not two, but twelve widescreen TV's in there, all angled so that they could be viewed from every seat without difficulty. All set to FOX news.

Oh, another radical Liberal who can't stand Fox News because they don't pander to the leftist liars like Hillary.

YOUR claims always center around the Patriot Act which, if you actually ever READ it instead of just repeating the same tired propaganda... you'd know that no rights enjoyed by the law-abiding American citizen are abridged by that document.
If you're planning to commit a terrorist act and this is stifling your ability to use cellphones to call Osama, I'm not sorry that this is allowing them to wiretap you. Get over it.
However:
1. The Left is pushing something called the "Fairness Doctrine". This would remove certain shows from Talk Radio because the Liberals can't seem to have a successful show. In an attempt to silence the voice of anyone not agreeing with them, they're seeking to put forth the notion that it's illegal for there to be Conservative talk show hosts but not Liberal ones.
Oh, please!
Big Brother is very obvious here.
2. The Democratic Party has long been hawking a position of Gun Control... abridging the 2nd Amendment rights of the American People. In order to institute a Big Brother type government, removing the guns from the hands of potential patriots who may oppose them is necessary... vitally so.
3. The Democrats and the ACLU are constantly pursuing ways to remove any trace of Christianity from the government despite it being an element of this nation's founding. They're intent on making sure the Ten Commandments are removed from courthouses even though our laws are based on them. They're invested in removing prayer from schools and stopping any form of greeting at the holidays that includes the word Christmas. In order to take power the way it's portrayed in 1984, it's necessary to make sure the only 'religion' the People have is the State. Look familiar? Happy Holidays!
4. Hillary and her ilk are pushing for more Federal Government involvement in the lives of the American People. Once a socialized healthcare is in place, they can use this to control people... if they want you to quit smoking, they make you do it by denying you healthcare if you don't. If they dislike someone who opposes them, they see to it that they wait for appointments or surgeries... do you not see that this is not a good idea? Can you not see that giving the Federal Government these powers that they were never intended to have... is a recipe for disaster and a true step in the 1984 direction?
Now, I'm not sitting here saying "Hillary is trying to install herself as dictator and dissolve America" even though the evidence for THAT is MUCH more real and proveable than your ridiculous attempts to vilify Bush for everything from starting Hurricane Katrina to being responsible for the bridge collapse in Minneapolis.
PLEASE... if you're going to debate, at least research the facts first!

totalitarianism can come in many forms- government, corporate etc . or many merged together with the same people pulling all the strings at the top.
