You say we fought against communism and as you know ( Young people know this too) we lost over 58,500 dead troops. So how come my brand new Chevy Equinox vehicle was made in China? ( That is the engine for my vehicle is made in Communist China ) China helped kill those 58,500 men by supporting North Vietnam. So why did General Motors go to China and give those people our jobs? Why is wal-mart full of goods from China? I bet all you veterans buy goods from China? Right? Same with Vietnam. The clothes on my back are from Vietnam. (Thanks Wal-Mart ) Guess what I know ?? In 10 years all the Auto Plants will be in China. All the cars you will drive will be made in China so why did you old Veterans fight the so called communist? You know as well as I do the Communist countries won when it came to the Vietnam war.

I want everyone to know about the situation in Iraq in all its REALITY, tribes, different powers in Iraq right now, the US's goal for Iraq, the Iranian, Saudi, and Syrian interests in Iraq currently, Al Qaeda's goals for Iraq, the Sunni vs. Shiite vs. Kurd conflict past and present, the major mistruths (maybe, maybe not direct lies) that have been stated by Bush administration to get us into Iraq, why each country is in Iraq right now, the cost of the US leaving Iraq (what would happen to the Iraqi people, what would happen to US interests in the region), etc.

There is so much people should learn about this. I believe that each country's population that has troops in Iraq should be tought this as being mandatory and the people, WE THE PEOPLE ONLY AFTER LEARNING ALL OF THIS, should vote on whether to stay in Iraq or whether not to.

Let different people buy in at different rates depending on what they need. You could offer different levels of service for:

social security
medicare
medicaid
even universal healthcare

people could choose how much they wanted of all of these and would be entitled to a level of service corresponding with their contribution.

The obvious answer would be Guiliani because he's a Republican...

But Guiliani also is a three time divorcee, committed adultery, is pro-choice, has marched and DRESSED in gay pride parades, and has children that do not talk to him anymore.

I understand that it made elections simpler back before votes were submitted by computer, but isn't it kind of moot to have it now? Especially since there's a possibility that (as in the 2000 election) the candidate that receives the majority of the popular vote won't win? It seems like the electoral college just makes things more complicated.

Bush said an order he signed would direct the Commerce and Interior departments to further build up stocks of striped bass and red drum, by working with state and local officials to prohibit sales of the fish caught up to 200 nautical miles out in the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.

I am a Dem but I am beginning to think that in the long run it is wise to keep some of these countries "in check" to protect America and others.

i find liberals when debating espically the farther left you go...tend to be very demening and sarcastic. and often times attack the person not the argument, does anyone else see it this way. of course i consider myself a conservative so maybe i see it differently than a liberal...if your a liberal and you feel conservatives do the same thing, or are tired of being called "unamerican" let me know what yall think out there...

We have a two term president that has restored Honor & Dignity back to the White House after the impeached Clinton.

Saddam Dead

No Terror attacks on USA soil since 9/11

Unemployment a VERY VERY low 4.6%

9 Million good paying jobs created since 2003

Terrorists flocking to Iraq (Not the USA) to be slaughtered by our patriotic troops.

I am so proud to be a conservative American.

Is it just me?
so this is how our tax money is being spent!

WE PAID $1,700,000,000,000 IN FEDERAL TAXES IN 2004

42% of our 2004 taxes were spent on WAR
while only
9% was spent on education
8% was spent on housing the poor
1% was spent on diplomacy

I think Bush has done well spending our money on a senseless war while Americans are still poor, with little education, and kids can't get proper healthcare, because of spending on a lie(war)

According to Karl Marx, Communism is an economic system in which everyone works and money is distributed equally to everyone--no one is richer than anyone else. This prevents the lower classes from being exploited, since there are no lower classes.
I know in the past Communist nations have ended up with a totalitarian government, but in 'Communist Manifesto' Marx says nothing about the type of government that should run a Communist country.
So when people are looking for a negative political term to call someone, shouldn't they call them totalitarian or fascist rather than Communist?
I was just wondering, since I see the term thrown around a lot.
