If so, do you also give those cultures the right to judge how we live?

Lynette, what I'm hearing is they want to change the way those cultures live, because they don't agree with it.

I don't make it a practice to judge people's choices -- I may determine whether I agree or not -- but that is based on the individual, and is subject to change as I learn more --

And regardless of whether I agree or not -- I grant them the right to live as they choose -- as long as they afford everyone else the same courtesy. About the only thing I oppose is people who try to force their beliefs on others against their will.

Had the opportunity to travel around the world, well just about all of Asia, and Australia anyway, and got to see a lot of different cultures first hand. Always tried to respect the culture of each country, and not to judge them by our standards. May not have agreed with all their customs, but never told them how to live.

Your relative did something she exchange into not assume to do. She have been given drunk interior the typical public. she would be able of be happy for not being arrested for this. properly, what the cab motive force did exchange into incorrect needless to say, additionally. i'm completely with you. yet - foreigners being in distant places international locations could admire the interior sight regulations. i'm not protecting the cab motive force in any respect, yet while your relative does not have been drunk, the finished element does not have handed off. i'm quiet useful that the incident might have some effects and that i'm additionally useful that the Pakistani (?) cab motive force will could pay the better fee. i'm happy to your relative that not something "severe" handed off and that i'm hoping she discovered her lesson. don't get drunk interior the typical public. besides, beside this and to be honest, do not you think of that still an American, British and what ever national cab motive force might maybe do an identical? handed off earlier. the only advice i will provide: in case you want to be taken care of as a woman, act like a woman and don't get drunk interior the typical public. edit chief Kutangeh: you do not comprehend something correct to the police interior the UAE. No Embassy can do something subsequently and needless to say no uk police (what an thought!). From my own journey i will assert, that the cops I had to handle have been very respectfull to me each and every of the time. And who ever says that it takes 5 witnesses to checklist a rape, this is basic nonsense. 2 years in the past a British lady have been given raped and all 3 adult adult males are in detention center. there have been no different witnesses in touch.

I think there are basic principals of human rights that all cultures should honor, and should be condemn when they fail to do so, including the US. I am disturbed by how silent the world is about the US use of torture However many of the differences are a matter of taste, and about these we all should mind our own business.

As the only loyal true blue Americans, my Christian faith reserves the right to judge all those who do not know the perfected perfection of American foreign policy and our Beloved Fuhrer, the Great and Wonderful Oz of Washington DC, President BushCheney's Dick. I am all for letting other cultures choose their own path. However I think what the cons are saying is they want to give those people the freedom to choose that path. Maybe we aren't as different as we think.

Um yes if some culture is rallying around ideals "Like death to America" and "Bomb bomb USA" then yeah I kind of have a right to judge them.

and I no choice but to allow those cultures the right to judge us until the glorious day comes when the gloves come off the American War Machine and we no longer have to play nice.
