I concede there is high probability that Hillary will be the next President, but we should also realize that she cannot simply impose a national health care system on the US. Any system would have to pass Congress as well, and the current make-up of the US Congress give neither side a working majority. Many of the new Democrats in the House are actually conservative by modern Democratic standards, and getting a comprehensive bill through the Senate would be next to impossible, between a 60 vote majority needed and the power of the fillibuster. Thank God for the Forefathers who devised a system where radical change could not happen easily.

WASHINGTON (Map, News) - Most reasonable people will concede that public housing projects failed. We’ve all seen the spotless new apartment complexes paid for by taxpayers to help the needy be transformed into filthy, crime-ridden slums.

Now, a new generation of leftists carps about “substandard housing” — as if those developments were built in the first place with cracked windows, urine in the stairwells and hypodermic needles on the playgrounds.

In fact, irresponsible residents and their guests destroy housing projects, and now — thanks to the federal government — they can do the same thing to your neighborhood.

People who have so little regard for others do not make good neighbors. They are not interested in pulling their weight; their aim is to be carried by others.

Is there a lesson to be learned in this for the con? Do cons realize that revenge is the path to their own destruction?

Time on such scatology as some fictional character, in a fictional novel.
Seems to this ol' man, that this was prevailant during the Anna Nicol Smith death with HOURS & HOURS of repiticous meanderings, and repiticious 'speculations'!
It is bad enough that the other NEWS " MANGLERS" NETWORKS choose / select what "news" to broadcast, but now FAUX has joined the crowd of scatology slingers !!!!!
MAYBE, MAYBE 2% of mature, intellegent American's cares what happens to Brittany (what a phony), Paris ( another even larger phony), or such tripe.
How much worse is this going to get ???
Hell, if it wasn't for BBC, Radio Australia, and those, we Americans would not be informed on any important happens that do concern us, UNLESS IT HAS A ""POSSABLE IMPACT"" on one of the political monkey candidates .
OOOHHHHH, I am Sorry, I forgot about The Master Of The World's Receiving THE NOBEL PRIZE, for spreading fear that we Americans are guilty of ALL polution in the whole world !!!

In regards to different questions and answers here I see an overused response, IMO. I see people casting blame about libs or cons trying to undermine values we teach our children and media being blamed. If you did a good job of instilling your values, how will anyone else change that? If you are involved in your childs life, including discussing things, how would someone else have more influence? Isn't blaming others teaching them they don't have to be responsible or acountable for their actions? I'm not saying that teaching your values to your children is wrong or even a gaurantee they won't make mistakes, but should we blame others when our children make mistakes.

"Almost every major terror attack since 9/11 has been traced back to Pakistani territory, leading many who work in intelligence to believe that Pakistan, not Iraq, is the place Mr. Bush should consider the “central front” in the battle against terrorism. It was also the source of the greatest leakage of nuclear arms technology in modern times."

I don't know the stats so I can only offer an opinion.

As with radar detectors, BCPs give a false sense of security. Thus encouraging kids to have sex more frequently than they would otherwise have considered. Coupled with peer pressure, this generates a pattern of behavior that does more harm than good.

This is the extreme side of liberalism that turns me off. Just as the extreme side of conservatism does as well. Your thoughts please.
