George Soros is another Liberal Socialist who has protected his money so no one can touch it but would have the wealthy others, who have worked hard to earn what they have and who already pay almost 50% of the money they earn; pay even higher taxes to even out the money that people have access to. He is willing to have the government provide for all the illegals and all the liberal programs which will put our Country in terrible shape. He feels as if he is superior to all of us and will do all that is possible so he doesn't end up being one of the rich who have to give up maybe 70% of their wages for those who are breaking the law or the others who are not willing to work but wait for the opportunity to get all the "free" rewards that have been promised to them. Very quick to judge and very quick to offer assistance with other people's money. I have no respect for the man or his ideas. He is no better than the other Democrats who are doing the same thing with their money and who wish to make this country a socialist one.

It sounds like it. I think the wealthy should pay more taxes because they can afford to and everyone knows our system is great but is deeply flawed. It is to their direct benefit to help out where they can. They aren't doing it on their own as they should. Nepotism is huge. They can do the most for the kids. Poor and middle class people cannot keep up.
When you look at the percentage, the rich won't even feel the pinch of paying more whereas middle class and poor people feel it that hardest because they don't have much to begin with.
It may not be fair but life isn't fair. If I had a lot of money then I would pay more. I'd still be living the great life so what do I care. I care about other people and I want to live in a safer and more stable world. It gives me more freedom.

Soros is an arrogant jerk.

Am I supposed to take your word that his money is where you say?

But more important, he's right. It's just wrong for those who have everything to pay so little, while those who have little pay everything, and get few services, as most tax money goes into the pockets of the rich.

How can that possibly be right?

Why people put so much into what George Soros would say about America is a mystery, as you said most of his investments are protected from taxation by shady business practices.

We all new this, the rich liberals shelter their money and then say "tax the rich" to appeal to their lemmings all the while knowing they will not pay one more penny. Ever heard about what he did to the economies of multiple Eastern European countries as they were trying to emerge from communism?? Look it up, it is interesting.

Because it won't effect him.
Like most Democrat Politicians, he has his millions in Overseas Accounts & in Tax-Free Bonds.
Never Trust a Democrat. (Rich or Poor.)

Warren Buffett and Alan Greenspan (Both conservatives) have said the same thing before.

So much for you and all the barking right-wing moonbats who used your question to screech their usual idiocy about "liberals".

The same reason that notorious liberal Warren Buffet says the same thing, because they can afford it and it is the right thing to do.

He is a socialist. He can pay himself whatever he likes. It is not like it is a tax on wealth.
