She has never BEEN the person in charge, meeting a payroll, making the final call on an important issue.

She is simply one of 50 Junior Senators. Big Deal!!!!!!!!

You mean like claiming that a woman who was a partner in a law firm for 15 years didn't run a business while extolling the virtues of somebody whose only business went bankrupt?

Look up the word partner, and stop asking for a bigger shovel to get you out of the hole you dug.

You have no idea how a law firm is run. CEO? What a joke.

Here, and I'll try to use small words, so you understand:

The Rose Law Firm is the oldest law firm West of the Mississippi. It is an Limited Liability Partnership Law firm, and Hillary Rodham Clinton was the first woman to become a partner. In an LLP, each partner is responsible for meeting their own staff payrolls and liabilities, but no partner is responsible for the liabilities and payrolls of the other partners.

Desperate people keep digging deeper holes and asking for bigger shovels.

Whitewater? Here, go read because I am getting tired of embarassing you:

I don't think calling W. Bush an incompetent idiot who will go down as one of the worst presidents in US history is slander. It's my opinion, and most Americans agree with me. It's people like you who keep defending the failures of the neo-con, globalist Bush Administration who give Repubs a bad name.

Face reality, Bush has been a simply awful President; try to select a decent candidate for the 2008 presidential elections. Not old Man Juan McCaine or the social liberal Rudy G. IF the Repubs select either of those two, they will lost the Congress and the presidency in a spectacular defeat.

It is the combination of having a public school education and watching too much television during their formative years. The premise of the film "idiocracy" springs to mind.

I don't know about slander -- but many definitely spin the truth, say half-truths or generally mis-state facts to prove their points.

Many also seem to repeatedly go over the same issues -- until they get enough people who agree with them to satisfy their egos.

Of course -- there are the rare few who stay out of partisan issues, try to be neutral in their questions and opinions and try to avoid attacking people directly -- but even those sometimes have their patience exhausted by the continued inane rantings of people who refuse to listen to facts or reason.

I recall myself linking Hillary to the Chinese Triad Mafia yesterday due to the campaign fund raising scandal. So yes.

Hopefully, YA users were bright enough to know that the Triad portion was more of a joke, even though the rest was true. I even added that I was joking about the Triad in the details at a later point.

What do you think? :-)

Regardless of one's partisan beliefs, I'm pretty tired of the straw man arguments that are a staple of some posters.

I'm a conservative Democrat, and usually (usually!) enjoy reading lots of facts and opinions from others who disagree with me; but I am so tired of slander. Witty and satirical comments are interesting, however, and I appreciate those responses.

No, I am not. I answer questions from all, regardless of whether or not they are a contact/fan, and I try to answer as honestly as possible.

Yes, here is an example. Just the other day you claimed that Conservatives are more successful than Liberals when people of each political philosophy are both successful and non-successful.
