Not dead -- just frowned upon.
People don't want to hear the truth -- it's not polite.
And political correctness is a cancer of the mind -- it's way of saying that people are too fragile to handle honest opinions -- and therefore we need to sugar-coat our words -- walk on eggshells, and treat them as children who cannot think for themselves.

There never became. besides the certainty that I view the final inhabitants like a schoolroom crammed with youngsters with a gentle instructor. He we could them break out with stuff, till they initiate up taking further and extra(freedom). Then one loser is going too a ways and the instructor has no determination yet to take the liberties faraway from all. Use worry-loose sense while doing issues and not mistake freedom of speech and action as a thank you to do each and every thing out of the limitations of decency.

No, it isn't dead, in spite of appearances at times in certain venues, it is alive and well, thank heavens. There are ways of expressing one's opinions and getting them across without rudeness and swearing. I must confess to a certain amount of impatience at times myself, and have fallen below my own standards, but I have tried to correct that after getting a deserved violation, even if it was a small one. (In my mind, at least) The problem with ranting is that it generally turns the listener off and defeats the purpose of the speech.

Stronger than ever.
ANYONE can post something on the web. ANYONE can speak just about anywhere.
People can self-publish, broadcast on the web, display art, you name it.
Dead? No, the very idea is bizarrely out of touch with reality.
Are there people who want it dead? Of COURSE! There are tons of them, more and more because they have free speech as well! We just notice them more.
Keep speaking up, everyone. The Web has made free speech a world-transforming tool of freedom-loving people everywhere!

NO, the consitituion is not suspended, many law suits are still filed to protect the 1st amendment rights. There maybe attempts by some to deny 1st amendment rights, but there is allways a side that is willing to counter.

Nope, no matter how hard liberals try to kill it. Their idea of free speech is that you can say whatever you want about whomever so long as you agree with them. If you don't agree with them, they will try to silence you. Just get a load of the letter so many powerful libs sent to Rush Limbaugh's employer to get him fired.

No, and you just proved it.
For the second test, go out to the street corner and yell at the top of your lungs, "Jesus had 12 gay lovers", then "Bush is a treasonous dictator" and lastly, "Anyone want to buy some dope?"
No one will pay attention to you unless they want dope.
For your last test, shout, "Global Warming is a fraud", and liberals will come out of their homes and beat the heck out of you.
(This is how you identify the people who are trying to take your freedoms away from you.)
