1) Until Bush started throwing around words like "tax relief" last I heard, taxes WEREN"T considered a burden, wage conficscation, or any sort of government theft and impingement on the individual.
They were seen as an investment in the community and nation, an investment in ensuring that we all have police protection from those who violate society's laws, that the infrastructure is well maintained, that if you fall on hard times you will be given assistance until you can get back on your feet.
2) The only reason anybody NEEDS tax relief is beccause we are doing the opposite of common sense and intelligence. If we taxed most, those who had the most, which makes sense, then we could lessen the burden on the lower classes and thus, allow them more purchasing power and help them raise their financial status, and create increased fiscal responsibility and honest sense of duty in the extreme rich.
