No, I think most people thought we would do well in destroying the terrorists and keeping our country safe. Thank the Lord for Mr. Bush.

America is mostly a country of the unbelievably stupid, naive and ignorant.
However, it has become rich and powerful because of a land rich in natural resources (taken with much bloodshed from the natives) and because of a small minority of brilliant scientists and intellectuals who are held in contempt by the majority who take advantage of their achievements.
America has been so provably wrong on so many issues it is absurd and they are too stupid to see it.
1. They now talk about solving the problems of the Middle East after voting in a president who initially said the rest of the world didn't matter to Americans (and wanted to pull out of the Palestinian/Israeli peace process- the Palestinian situation being a prime recruiting sergeant for terrorists)
2. They ignored the rest of the world who warned that they should take stock and plan before invading Iraq (and many of these supported eventual military action.
3. They said they don't believe in Global Warming (the fact that they would ignore their own Academy of Sciences shows how anti-intellectual they are).

Don't know what you are talking about there sport.
Only slightly more than half the population fo the entire US voted him into office, so right there is a significant portion of the population that never did believe in him.
So, I don't really know what your point is.
g-day!

Very simplistic answer - we can either confront the Islamic terrorists and their ideology of hatred and domination, or, like most of the world, we can accept their demands and tactics and sit on the sidelines while they indiscriminately slaughter thousands of more innocent victims.
I am proud that the United States and her true allies have chosen to finally confront this ideology and the rest of the world can just continue to prepare for the consequences of their choices.
Our message is simple, if you have a mind to fly jumbo jets into a skyscraper or attack another country - better you stay out of America and pick a country that's not going to respond. There will be serious consequences if you choose to attack America or one of her allies again.

Only about 24% of them - the "24%er's" are still hanging on with their fingernails, as unable to admit his failures, mistakes and incompetence as Bush himself is.

George Bush as far as I have seen in the seven years he has been my president is a man of faith, a man of Principal and except for his stance on amnesty for illegal aliens I like most of his choices. Some here and abroad seem to listen to who shouts the loudest and apparently don't do any research on their own about absurd accusations that we went to war in Iraq for the sole purpose of stealing their oil, yet in the 5 years we've been there we haven't taken a dime of their oil money. But liberals are never interested in facts only fixated on their agenda to make the U.S. into a 3rd world country and they are succeeding at a faster and faster pace as Americans tend to follow human nature and believe the worst about people and the libs know this. All the while selling our country out. So we will get what we deserve sooner or later folks a country toatally controlled by government. Running every aspect of our lives from birth to the grave unless of course the Islamo Fascits take over and then it will be worse if thats possible. I said good bye to a once great nation many years ago as I watch our constitution trampled on and distorted by the narrow minded liberals who think everyone has to be equal in order for peace to abound and of course with only them in charge. Peace out
