The Terrorists have hit London, Spain, Bali and others but because of George W. Bush's policies;

Wire Taps
Patriot Act
Cuba Prison Camps
Fighting them over there....so we don't have to fight them over here. Killing 1,500 a TERRORISTS a month in Iraq not USA.

The terrorists have not been able to strike America on her own soil.

The only policy of this Administration that has contributed to our safety is the invasion of Afghanistan which temporarily disrupted the operations of Al Quaeda.

You need to remember that before 9/11 we had gone over 8 years since the previous terrorist attack as had our allies. Prior to 9/11, we managed to discover and prevent some attacks here and abroad, but were not able to prevent all attacks abroad. Since 9/11, we have managed to discover and prevent some attacks here and abroad, but were not able to prevent all attacks abroad. From an objective standpoint, there is no major difference in our ability to prevent terrorism today as compared to in the spring of 2001.

As the old saying goes, even a broken clock is right two time a day. Good luck and good investigation can outweigh bad policies in preventing terrorist attacks.

p.s. Killing 1,500 terrorists a month (assuming that figure is any more accurate than the casualty figures in Vietnam) only helps us if it does not result in the recruiting of 2,000 new terrorists a month.

The terrorists have not been able to strike America on her own soil, but not for lack of trying, and it's a combination of all the programs that you mentioned that's keeping them at bay, coupled with the surge.

The primary tactical ringleaders of 9/11 came from Germany. If Germany was really better prepared they would have prevented Atta and his buddies from leaving Germany to begin with. Besides Afghanistan is in Europe's backyard, why did the EU allow the taliban and al quada to thrive?

The EU pretends to be a power but it is not, it is only concerned with itself and does little to protect its allies who fought so hard to protect Europe. So "Be Happy" and let someone else deal with serious world issues then complain because the US asserts itself too much. Believe me we do not want too, please EU do your part.

Nickel: Do you not think the taliban or al quada is a threat to Europe for Germany to do more then warn people? Psst they attacked Spain, UK, Denmark and that is all that is necessary is a warning when links to al quada in Europe are linked directly to Germany? Why is German intelligence not doing a better job at preventing terrorist cells from doing business in Germany? (ie protecting its neighbors) It's like a firefighter pointing to a neighbors home on fire and saying "Hey, you might want to put that out." then going back inside to finish his diner only to have the fire spread and burn his house down as well. Good luck to you.

In Germany, our police has done a better job since around 10 real attacks have been stopped.

We did not need extra laws for the police to do its job well.

We did not wait to be hit first to have a high level of security

We are by far not so worried as you are... we just live happy.

Favorite policies;

1. Transfer of American wealth to International Corporate Fascists.

2. Returning America to rule by monarchy, the way the founding fathers intended.

3. Utilizing the Constitution for the founding fathers' intended purpose- toilet paper.

4. Treating Veterans like disposable trash.

Need I continue?

Shrub is the greatest president since RonnieGod!

The President deserves a lot more credit than he gets. People keep eating the constant flow of crap the liberal media keeps feeding them, so we never hear about the good things this administration has accomplished.

Regardless if you like or do not like this President, you have to admit his policies have done a good job of keeping us safe since 9/11.

You should be THANKFUL that we have been safe since 9/11!!!! Just how do you think the government finds out about attacks like the planes from the UK to US that were suppose to have liquid explosives?? And all the other threats?

Do you want to die? Do you think the US ought to be like an episode of Law and Order? Shall we give the terrorist due process and laywers?

Get a life loser...

The absence of terrorist attacks on the US is not evidence that anything Bush has done has kept anyone safe.

Here's an even better example of your type of logic. I have an apple on my desk which repels mountain lions. I know it works, because there are no mountain lions in my house.

Get a clue.

The terrorists achieved there goal and more then they could dream of. They managed to change our policies, Keep us living in fear of "the next big attack" and on top of all that we lost freedoms that our forefathers fought so valiantly for in the 1700's. So you know George W. Bush is the biggest domestic terrorist and should be tried for treason.
