I dont like how family and enjoying life has become less important to many Americans. Work is taking over everyones life. I think this has to do a lot with the Government, because they are who make the rules. But how does my generation change that?! im 21.....

Stephen Colbert announced his candidacy for president on "The Colbert Report," tossing his satirical hat into the ring of an already crowded race. "I shall seek the office of the President of the United States," announced Colbert on his Comedy Central show Tuesday, as red, white and blue balloons fell around him.

I say WHY NOT? As if Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Romney, Guiliani, or Thompson would be any worse! You want a viable 3rd party candidate ladies and gentlemen? THIS is about as close as we're all going to get! Imagine the message this would send to Washington if the host of a Comedy Central spin off from "The Daily Show" actually won the 2008 election! I say let's do it! COLBERT 08!

Did everyone see what Nancy Pelosi has done lately. She wanted to force a vote on a killing of armenians by turkish troops hundreds of years ago and call it a "massacre" which would result in the straining of relations between the United States and Turkey.

Turkey has allowed us to keep a large military force (for the longest time the only middle east stronghold we had) and a large air force base.

Is this good for america in a time of war?

Does anyone even listen to this bitter old crone?

Is this why congress has an approval rating of 14%?

Any ideas?

Dobbs hates Peloi's, Hillary's and the Dems' support for illegals.

Dobbs can't stand seeing the Dems support the destruction of American families by giving America away to illegals.

53. While trying to escape through Pakistan, Osama Bin Laden found a bottle on the beach and picked it up. Suddenly, a female genie rose from the bottle and with a smile said, "Master, may I grant you one wish?"

Osama responded, "You ignorant, unworthy daughter-of-a-dog! Don't you know who I am? I don't need any common woman giving me anything."

The shocked genie said, "Please, I must grant you a wish or I will be returned to that bottle forever."
Osama thought a moment, then grumbled about the impertinence of the woman and said, "Very well, I want to awaken with three American women in my bed in the morning. So just do it and be off with you."

The annoyed genie said, "So be it!" and disappeared.

The next morning Bin Laden woke up in bed with Lorena Bobbitt , Tonya Harding, and Hillary Clinton at his side. His penis was gone, his knees were broken, and he had no health insurance. God is good.

Bush has taken the country for ride. a bad, bad ride. Why are there faithful blind republicans that won't just wake up?
Lou Dobbs is by far not a left winged hippy. And he has some straight forward hard talk on bush:

"Bush campaigned for the Republican Party's nomination eight years ago, styling himself as a compassionate conservative. He's amply demonstrated that he is neither. Although many conservatives refuse to accept the reality, George W. Bush is a one-world neo-liberal who drove budget and trade deficits to record heights while embracing faith-based economic policies that perversely require only blind allegiance to free markets and free trade, without regard for consequence."

Even if you are opposed to the war, surely you see purposefully increasing the level of violence on our soldiers as a vile act.

Turkey is a proud country that democrats knew would react this way, and now our soldiers in Iraq will pay the price.

I'm afraid your right Bill Clinton was the first to coin the word WMD's and Iraq in the same sentence. It happened on December 16, 1998 in his address to the nation on operation "Desert Fox" Quote From Bill Clinton:

Operation Desert Fox, a strong, sustained series of attacks, will be carried out over several days by U.S. and British forces, Clinton said.
"Earlier today I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces," Clinton said.
"Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors," said Clinton.

Clinton also stated that, while other countries also had weapons of mass destruction, Hussein is in a different category because he has used such weapons against his own people and against his neighbors. End Quote

If you would like to watch it follow the link below to CNN and see Bill say it in his own words.
