Lots of stupid stuff is pushed behind the pulpit. A pulpit is not the filter of truth.

What is a liberal? Did your pastor define it?

Why is he saying that rather than presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ? Does he think the gospel of Rush Limbaugh will get people into Heaven?

The world will hate believers because of Christ. But people dislike Bush because he is the worst president in the history of this country.

Don't listen to politics preached from the pulpit.

No. We don't hate Bush because he's a Christian. Lots of liberals are Christians. Why would religion have anything to do with it? He's not a Christian anyway. Google the Bohemian Grove.
We dislike Bush because his idealogy has nothing to do with America or it's citizens. His and his controllers agenda have only to do with tyrannical global power. It's not his fault though, he's been programmed that way. American sons and daughters are dying. Do you know why? When you answer that you will answer your question.

Nope.
First off the pastor should not be preaching politics from the pulpit.
Bush should keep his religious convictions to himself &
has proven himself to be a hypocrite regardless of political party.
His claim to be born again is just to gain favor from the religious right.
As Americans , the constitution provides for individual religious freedom .
Separation of church & state is essential to this freedom.
Not taking a slap at any religion, but it has to remain personal & disconnected from government.
Otherwise, we become as bad as the extremist theocracies that are tearing the world up at this time.
Personally a devout agnostic , but I strongy support anyones
right to believe as they choose as long as there is no attempt to mix one brand of religion or another w/ national policy.
Been around a while & have never seen such a screw up in the white house ,regardless of party.
Best regards

This tact by skill of the closed-minder appropriate wing is an abuse of have confidence. of path you do no longer hate usa in case you hate Bush and it truly is a cynical attempt by skill of christian fundamentalists to maintain their guy in skill.

Religion has nothing at all to do with my dislike of Bush. It has been his many failed policies and lack of action of the real problems of the US. For me religion should not ever be even considered in our decisions for elected officials.

No. I consider myself a liberal, but I'm very religious. I just don't try to force my beliefs on others, and I'm tolerant of other's beliefs. I don't like Bush becuase of all the bad decisions he's made. And he's just an idiot.

Well first of all I refuse to slot myself into the whole "liberal" vs. "conservative" dichotomy... I choose my politics for myself.

I don't hate President Bush, although I strongly disagree with him. Most of my disagreements with him are because of my Christian faith, and I find his political choices in many respects to be incompatible with Christianity.

Destabilizing the middle east with the reckless and needless war in Iraq is an example of that. The ongoing militarism vis a vis Iran is another example. The philosophy of preemptive war is incompatible with the traditional Christian approach on issues of war and self-defense (Augustine/Aquinas' Just War doctrine.)

No, we hate him because he's single-handedly destroyed the country. There's nothing "Christian" about the bastard, IMHO. Would Christ have invaded a sovereign nation that posed no threat to Him? I think not!

Hopefully your pastor and his "church" will lose their tax exemption. Separation of church and state works both ways!
