So, why is it that the illegals whose SS cards don't match are being deported and no Democrat is stopping them? How is it that Ronald Reagan gave unconditional amnesty to illegal aliens back in the 80s? The problem with Social Security is not illegals who pay into the plan it is people who raid Social Security to balance a budget or for some program like a foreign war. Education should be free to everyone. It is the one way we can teach them our ways and our customs and to speak English. Lots of Americans pay very little income tax. Most of them make over a million dollars. They have so many loop holes that they wind up paying less than you or I pay if anything. So don't whine about the illegals. Yes, their presence here is a problem but with cool heads and empathy we can solve this problem. Deporting them is not practical as there are so many of them besides they are cheap labor for the huge agricultural business of the primarily Republican central valley of California.

You are so right. They do not pay taxes though. How is that done without a social security number, a real address, and your employer actually reporting your wages?
One thing that people on the fence about the amnesty proposals do not realize is that industry will need a whole new batch of law breakers to pay poor wages to. You cannot pay a citizen under the table $5 per day. Only a new illegal could be paid that kind of wage.
The cycle will continue and the country will keep getting more third world.

The question should be: What have Republicans done for me lately? Think about it! They want to appear tough on illegals and soft on business' who hire them. You can't have it both ways. They claim they're for freedom but want to build a wall on our southern border. The plan they have for YOU is to finance an illegitimate war in Iraq... borrow billions from China and Japan to finance tax-cuts to the wealthiest... and let the next generation pay the bill. The president is about to veto a $35 billion bill for health care for poor children...but the Congress just passed a bill allowing $190b dollars for war in Iraq and Afghanistan. I can't understand your question and reasoning for speculating what Dems might do... when all this Republican B.S. is going on. Oh! I know!... you're caught up in the fear and blame game that these people know how to play so well. Lucky for you, because Dems are the only ones available for change...And that is sure to come. The Republicans had the control of congress and the presidency so what did they do? Nothing, illegal immigration increased under Bush more than any president in history. So whatever the Democrats do now, its just trying to clean up the mess.
Why would you not criticize the people who created the problem instead of going after somebody that is not even elected yet?

social security = based on how much you paid into it
free health care = they're getting now...same for education
taxes = at least they'll be paying something

No. It was your boy bush that wanted to have amnesty for illegal aliens. The American people spoke out and put and end to that (for the moment)

Sure they do. I'm an American citizen, may or may not get social security, I'm 51 years old. no health insurance, and have lung cancer. This is a sad state we live in when Dems will do everything to make life better for law breakers than for the American People.

They want them to have Social Security, how can that be when it is broke??
As for giving them the world (on Americans backs) they want them to have it all, the dems could care less that people have to work more, as long as they can tax and spend OUR money while they stay in power.
