yeah, it sucks that the only WMD's Iraq actually had were the ones we knew that they had since the 1980's and the ones we sold them. but what else was the president to do once everyone knew that his insinuations of yellow cake and nukes were blatant lies?

As I recall, Saddam's genocide was one of a litany of reasons he met his demise.
Keep crying about the Iraq invasion being about the oil. You are helping the Syrians. The Iranians. Hezbollah. Al qaeda. Possibly Russia. Guess what these fine groups are after? Iraq's oil.

Sorry had to blow the dust off that question. This is going to take some research to find out how much oil we have ripped off of the Iraqi people since the war started.

It never was a reason presented by anyone. Hussein used WMD's on the Kurds in the past, prior to the removal of Hussein, his crazy sons and his crazy party.
There were dozens of reasons given for taking over Iraq. Go back and read the newspapers.

He gassed kurds, he continued to kill kurds, and was expelling them by the thousands up until 2002.

I will, if you tell me the funny one that the only reason Hillary is giving out health care and welfare is NOT to buy votes from poor people. Some people even say she "cares about them"!!

I don't recall that being a reason for invading. Memories are so short. We invaded because Saddam failed to live up to the agreement he signed after we kicked him out of Kuwait so we would chase him to Baghdad......
