Corporations have centralized decision making, are a collective of labor, serve their own self interest, crush whistle blowers or internal descentors, make public statements that protect themselves even at the risk of endorsing a lie, and expand their power by any means possible and accepted. Are they like little communist blocks?

It seems easier to take their oil when there is a mess, I am not sure sure it would be possible if there was peace there.

All parties want less government involved. It's the platform of the Libertarian party, the Republican party prides itself on wanting a smaller government, and the Democratic party does not want the government to have control over individual choices. With all of that being said, what are your issues with other parties? Everyone is after the same goal, but with different ideas as to how to solve them. Please be respectful of others, and only answer the question and not go on a rant. Thank you.

General Petraeus is a good American and a great General with a stellar record. He deserves respect. Not the slander and hatred the Left has poured on him.

Do you stand by our warriors, the protectors of our freedom?

Or do you stand by the hate America Left?

Well, except for that Obama guy, who Busheviks say not to vote for on account of he's got a funny sounding last name.

So let me see if I've got this straight, Republicans. All of those Stinking, America Hating, Socialist, Homosexual Loving, Democrats voted to go to war in Iraq? And that wasn't enough to tip you off to the fact that it was a bad idea?

After all, a lot of them went along with the Beloved Leader's Amnesty Plan, and you saw through that, didn't you?

A bunch of students at the University of Florida protested the 'censorship' of the tasered dude.

And besides that, some are now claiming this was a deliberate stunt:

There is not a single government employee that is without coverage and that is over 35 million Americans . We have no trouble paying taxes for salaries and providing health care coverage for those people . From the parks department cutting grass to the president of the United States they all have coverage .
You may also want to know that millions of people who work for non profit foundations also have coverage and those people are also paid for with donations from working Americans .

Seems the people without coverage are the ones working to pay taxes and make donations to pay the wages and health care of others .

We have millions of construction workers ,warehouse employees , farm hands ,and processing workers , along with retail workers who have no money left to pay for health care on the wages they earn after rent , electric food and car payments and insurance to be able to get to work .

Please do not tell me that the poor working tax payers do not get medical care .

By Adam Tanner
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A U.S. federal judge tossed out a lawsuit by California's attorney general on Monday seeking hundreds of millions of dollars from six automakers for damaging the state with climate-changing greenhouse gases.
Martin Jenkins, a federal judge in the Northern District of California, said the issue of global warming should be decided in the political rather than legal arena.
"The Court finds that injecting itself into the global warming thicket at this juncture would require an initial policy determination of the type reserved for the political branches of government," Jenkins wrote in approving the automakers' motion to dismiss the case.
The suit, filed in September, targeted General Motors Corp, Ford Motor Co, Toyota Motor Corp, the U.S. arm of Germany's DaimlerChrysler AG and the North American units of Japan's Honda Motor Co and Nissan Motor Co Ltd.

Isn’t a lawsuit like this going a bit overboard? Is California’s attorney general for real? Does he expect people to walk to work?

EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:
Only 29 percent of Americans gave Bush a positive grade for his job performance, below his worst Zogby poll mark of 30 percent in March. A paltry 11 percent rated Congress positively, beating the previous low of 14 percent in July.

**To repeat what you just read, Bush's approval rating is 29% while Congress is a measly 11%. I fail to understand why Congress' approvall rating is almost 20 pts lower than Bush's.**

I have been reading for months and months now that one of the BIG problems with the Iraq debacle, and why we "shouldn't" bring home the troops, is that "Iraq won't step up to the plate" and run its own country, and solve its own problems.

Now, with this Blackwater incident, Iraq has, indeed, stepped up to the plate and made an independent decision. They say Blackwater will not be allowed to operate anywhere in Iraq.

Will America respect their decision?

"An Interior Ministry spokesman, Brig. Gen. Abdul Kareem Khalaf, said, "We have revoked Blackwater's license to operate in Iraq. As of now they are not allowed to operate anywhere in the Republic of Iraq. The investigation is ongoing, and all those responsible for Sunday's killing will be referred to Iraqi justice."

****Where is the impeachment trial?****

The greatest crime that could be committed by an elected official in a Representative Democracy is information manipulation and lying! The case has been made that President GW Bush lied to the American people. The charges that President manipulated evidence that sent us to war in Iraq. If these are true allegations and not political maneuvering then were is the impeachment trial? If these allegations are true then it is up to congress to preserve our democracy! If these allegations are true then at the very least there should be an impeachment trial to bring REAL evidence before the American people and take that evidence out of the realm of speculation and, dare I say it, CONSPIRACY THEORY'S!!

**This is the process of our political system!

The same? No, but some substantial similarities. Isn't it politically risky for Romney to in effect attack his own plan?
