EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:
Only 29 percent of Americans gave Bush a positive grade for his job performance, below his worst Zogby poll mark of 30 percent in March. A paltry 11 percent rated Congress positively, beating the previous low of 14 percent in July.

**To repeat what you just read, Bush's approval rating is 29% while Congress is a measly 11%. I fail to understand why Congress' approvall rating is almost 20 pts lower than Bush's.**

because the people realize that congress isn't trying to help their country, but use partisan tactics, with the war, they also realize that they are to blame as well for any problems, yet they never admit it when they are wrong, and never are accountable for it.

People are realizing about the 2nd face of congress.

Would you like the Republican spin or the truth? First of all, We Democrats hold our officials to a higher standard than the Republicans do. We voted for change in Congress. We voted to change the way things have been done in this administration. However, despite all the promises, since the Republican majority has been removed, nothing has been done. They back down before Bush's bullying consistently. The man is a stubborn ignorant child and he needs to be treated as such. Instead Congress is giving in constantly like any appeasing parent does with a temper tantrum-throwing child.

However, if you paid any attention at all to news and not just what is being spun to you, Congress has made several efforts to pass legislation, only to be held back by the partisan members through the means of filibusters and such. There are still enough corrupt Republican officials that can throw a wrench in the works only because they are trying to further the conservative agenda. Also, Bush has made it clear they he will not work with Congress on anything that he has not already dictated to them. This is in stark contrast to Clinton who did work with the Republican Congress to pass legislation.

Our government is a complete mess. It seems like every position has been taken by those who only represent the extremists. Change needs to happen and people need to be held accountable. Educate yourself and learn who you are voting for. You owe this to yourselves and to the country.

The Democrats won control of both houses and then squandered it with a bunch of stupid "hearings and investigations". While such partisan politics may appease the far left they are perceived (correctly so) as nothing more than smear tactics and posturing. Little of substance has been achieved as a result.

Another 800 pound gorilla in the room is the constant attempts especially by the Senate, to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. That is really angering people on all sides of the political spectrum. Failure to seriously control the boarders it another.

The time to bathe house is in 2010 & 2012! This time next 12 months they could have a pair of three% approval score if that, and in the event that they bypass well-being Care Reform they are going to be interior the unfavorable approval rankings. i could upload that Obama's approval score in accordance to Rasmussen is lots decrease and that they've an inclination to be very precise- with that stated, he now has the backside approval score in accordance to previous Presidents. He sucks and individuals are only commencing as much as confirm how undesirable.

Because as Bad as people hate Bush, they at least understand that congress could do something if they wanted to. But the congress is too worried about gaining and losing seats in the upcoming election so they chose to do nothing and let the people get even more angry with Bush.

Perhaps their expectations were for Congress to contain or even stop him from his present course and that hasn't exactly happened. Theoretically speaking of course and mindful that I can't speak for all Americans.

Because, as usual, the Democrats promised a bunch of stuff they can't deliver before the last election and people are unhappy...Democrats are unhappy because they haven't brought "all the troops home" and Republicans are unhappy because of all the whining and foot-dragging involved in keeping the troops supplied.

The people who were polled think Congress is doing a lousy job. I think Congress is doing a lousy job.
In some areas Mr. Bush is doing a good job: the economy, the war against terrorists.

Because the hate-conservatives Left voted ala knee jerk reaction and too many stupid conservatives stayed home and didn’t vote. So now we have a bunch of far Left wack-a-doo’s in congress who the silent majority doesn’t like.

VOTE CONSERVATIVES!
VOTE THE ISSUES AND DON'T STAY HOME!
