We can go back to Munich if you like or even further to see that what has happened in the past effects what is going on today .

Why do we act as if we were all just hanging out on 9-11 as the best friend of everyone in the world and suddenly for no reason at all a bunch of Saudi Arabians went nuts and attacked us .

In the Koran, you'll find a passage that says something like, "It doesn't matter what a man has done up to this day. What matters is what the man does from this day forward."

In Islam, the past is supposed to be readily forgiven and no one is supposed to hold a grudge. This, however, doesn't seem to be practiced in their religion. But then again, there's lot's of Christian ideology that isn't practiced either.

you're on a roll...keep going...an answer could be very long, filled with historical accounts of how others have had a mindset that makes them feel like they own the world...or should...that their way is the best way, that their religion is the only way, that their culture is the only civilized one, and that they will rescue the the rest of the world from their uncivilized, backward lives. The US is no less guilty of that mindset. Rome's intention was to make the world Rome; England's was to make the world England...they nearly made it.... and ours has been the same, maybe since the Monroe Doctrine and Manifest Destiny, but certainly since WWII. We introduce unwanted culture (incl. the shallow trash we make), religion (missionaries), economics, and treat their natural resources as OUR national interest. If the tables were turned, Americans would no less angry....and as our fortunes dip (thanks W) and China's fortunes rise, we may one day find those tables turned.................maybe if we adhered to the golden rule and kept our noses out of other peoples business, we might fare better in the future. We are hated around the world because we are around the world.

Ask the Democrat Party on this one...they keep wanting to raise taxes "in a vacuum" thinking it will raise government revenues, not realizing there is an "outside contribution" from the taxpayers--their incentive to generate revenue goes down, and government revenue decreases...but no matter how many times this is demonstrated, Dems love to tax.

I doubt anyone thinks that. It is a judgment from some to paste the label stupid on others.

Radical Islamic terrorism has been a problem many have foreseen since their leaders trained at the feet of the Nazis.

Perhaps it's the idea that people would actually have to think for themselves that gets in the way of a clear understanding of reality.

It seems people now days would rather have someone point the way rather than finding it on their own.

You misspelled "vacuum." And you cheated. You asked more than one question but gave up only five points.

The US was attacked by muslim crazies. Some of them were from Saudi Arabia.
