After 10 months, I'm still in Europe. No cable news here. What has been happening on Fox News? Bill O'Reilly? Greta Van Susteren? Specifically, I would like to know:

1) Does it look like North Korea will not be able to hoodwink Bush like he did Clinton?

2) Aren't either Newt Gingrich or Condi Rice going to announce a bid for the Presidency? Who else could win?

3) (for Greta fans): Anything new with the Natalie Holloway investigation? On the official website, it says she may have been forcibly taken off the island. What about Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers?

4) Any more rumors of Saddam's WMD's hidden in Syria? Has anyone speculated that is the reason Nancy Pelosi rushed to Syria as soon as she became speaker, to try and prevent cooperation between Al-Assad and Bush?

5) Are voters getting fed up with Hillary and Obama? Which one has a better chance of getting the nomination?

As if it's not bad enough with Bush around with his bonehead way of running the country,we have republican senators caught in the cookie jar or doing idiotic acts, don't they realize that while democrats like Ted Kennedy can get away with manslauther, they can't afford to do the same.

lies and propaganda since the beginning (and im a republican, an ashamed one) everyone rallied to his BS, but now, those same people condemn him. perhaps you now see that maybe 9/11 was an action our government might have had a heavy hand in? perhaps the WMDs that didnt exist sparked it. or was it the fact that the sentiment "if we fight over there we dont have to fight here" really doesnt make any sense (eventually wed fight here when we were too weak to fight there). when did you people finally wake up?

Panel: U.S. Underreported Iraq Violence

By ROBERT BURNS
The Associated Press
Wednesday, December 6, 2006; 8:31 PM

WASHINGTON -- U.S. military and intelligence officials have systematically underreported the violence in Iraq in order to suit the Bush administration's policy goals, the bipartisan Iraq Study Group said.

In its report on ways to improve the U.S. approach to stabilizing Iraq, the group recommended Wednesday that the director of national intelligence and the secretary of defense make changes in the collection of data about violence to provide a more accurate picture.

The panel pointed to one day last July when U.S. officials reported 93 attacks or significant acts of violence. "Yet a careful review of the reports for that single day brought to light 1,100 acts of violence," it said.

"The standard for recording attacks acts as a filter to keep events out of reports

ABC's World News, CBS Evening News, and NBC's Nightly News reported that the death toll for U.S. service members in Iraq was down in July. But none of the programs noted at the time that U.S. troop death numbers for July, while lower than previous months, meant that this July was the deadliest July of the war. And none of the programs have reported the fact that the current number of troops killed in Iraq for the months of June, July, and August makes the summer of 2007 the bloodiest summer of the war for American soldiers.

Another horror story from Canada:

September 4, 2007

A shortage of urologists has become so pronounced that patients' lives are at risk, managers of a St. John's-based health authority have been warned.

Andy Grant, a member of a prostate cancer support group in St. John's, said he is afraid that people will die — or already have — while waiting for surgery.

"First of all, [patients deal with] the shock you might have prostate cancer, then the shock of being confirmed with prostate cancer," he said. "Now you have the shock of saying, 'I have to wait until next year?' "

they were national socialists like FDR, Truman, and Kennedy than the current international socialists? I mean at least you knew FDR would stand up for the interests of the United States while he was redistributing the wealth... Now the Democrats still want the "movers-and-shakers" to foot the lions share of the US government bill, but dehumanize and demonize them to gain favor with the average US citizen and are unwilling to defend their income generating interests abroad...

Is a little respect and the occasional "I got your back" too much to ask for employing US citizens, providing goods and services, and paying 35% of your income in taxes?

Tancredo: Threaten to bomb Muslim holy sites in retaliation.
A political candidate for the president of U.S. made such a dim-witted and inflammatory statement, yet most people dismissed it as ranting from a crazy, old guy. If he can justify the bombing of innocent citizens, then what makes him any different from any terror leader sitting in a cave on the Pakistan-Afghan border?

By this i mean, that everyone thought the evidence was true, and that the Bush Administration gave Saddam about 8 months to disarm and let UN weapons inspectors in. When he finally let them in, Saddam gave the UN weapons inspectors limited access. Everyone that was opposed to the war prior, where they just idiots or knew things that the rest of the world did not know but did not tell anyone?

I mean.. conservatives believe the government screws everything up... so why should we let them (the government) screw up other nations? And last I checked Liberals weren't too fond of setting troops on foreign soil either... boggles my mind we have troops anywhere outside the US with these mentalities.
