Why do we let our government use our military to "fix" the rest of the world?

I mean.. conservatives believe the government screws everything up... so why should we let them (the government) screw up other nations? And last I checked Liberals weren't too fond of setting troops on foreign soil either... boggles my mind we have troops anywhere outside the US with these mentalities.

Now, libs may not like wars, but while Clinton was in office, we got ourselves into a lot of military trouble, esp. Bosnia, Serbia, etc, so I think that libs don't really have a problem as long with force as it fits their social/political agendas. But yeah, we are messing up other nations a lot.

The reason why is because the voters are afraid to live free.
Freedom is not free. Freedom is expensive and is paid in hard work and responsibility.
The socialist government gives you safety and takes your freedom away. They scare you with terrorism and you support war. They scare you with drug and crime and you support the drug war. They scare you with AIDS and you support universal health care.
Never ever one of these problems is solved. They just get bigger and the one who failed miserably to solve it demands more money to try again.

News flash!!!! Radical Islamists want to kill all Americans. They don't care if we're conservative or liberal. Therefore we must get rid of the regimes that allow the Jihadists to train and gain power. If I remember correctly, all of our troops were in the U.S. on 9/11.
