Ok, I work at a local grocery store, am in college, and support myself best I can. I have done right as a young American(at least I thought) by graduating out of highschool and moving on to college. Not bringing any children into the world that I cannot support, not expecting our-all-so-giving taxpayers to foot the bill. However I have seen somthing disgraceful. In working in a grocery store, I see many people. Most hard working Americans trying to feed their families and budgeting what money they have. Although recently I am appalled at what is going on!!! These young AND old women and MEN flaunting their most expensive brands of groceries and paying with FOODSTAMPS!!!! Wouldn't be a problem, but this individuals have no problem affording the new LG Chocolate phone, and adorning themselves in gold rings and all. Then there is the all so gr8 WIC. Yep, pop out those babies and you get even MORE FREEBIES!!!

There are a number of retired US Generals who served in Iraq who speak out publicly against the war in Iraq as well as many Iraq veterans but why is it that out of 150,000 US troops serving in Iraq right now there is basically not one word of any problems in Iraq?

Are the retired US Generals lying or are US troops serving in Iraq afraid something might happen to them if they were to talk freely?

I see so many people here say that the media is liberally slanted and this is the reason we don't hear about the good things going on in Iraq. I have to admit I am trying to remain objective about this. Got any links?

That's what Matt Bellamy of the band Muse called it,saying if they really cared about "climate change" all these people wouldn't be flying around in private jets. Perhaps that's because a gulfstream jet uses more fuel in one trip than you will use in a few years as an average American. Does the hypocricy of people like Al Bore know any boundaries?

I have been seeing different questions as to what role Israel played in the destruction of the twin towers, and so many respondants say that is B,S, Israel is our ally?? but, don't any one remember the bombing of a hotel in Beruit Lebanon some years back where I think Mechan Begin was accused of the evil doings? or the bombing of the U,S,S,Liberty, killing over 50 of our men and wounding over 200 ?f the Lavon affair in Egypt where the Israeli's delibertly planted bombs to kill American service men? or flight 103 from lockebee Scotland ,with over180 people aboard just to get one man and make it look bad for the Palestinians?
after a investigation Israel admitted they did it to get America angry at the Palestinians, now 911, after all of the investigations have been did, only a few people believe O,B,L, had any thing to do with it, even our F,B,I, says he did not have anything to do with it, only Israeli sympthizers have stood by this claim, there is one hell of more evidence

I have a theory. I do not believe that conservatives as a whole really want to harm "the little guy". It would make no sense and they need the little guy to line their greedy pockets, correct?

But on the opposite side, the liberals really DO want harm to fall upon the rich which is an odd play since all liberal politicians ARE rich.

So one side isn't out to harm any Americans and one is.

Both sets of politicians though are rats.

At some point, the GOP may reach some kind of point of Critical "loserness" - like a star about to Supernova and die. Do you think the party's there yet? Or, will it take a few more months of assault by Bush & the neocons to destroy it?

after all, it's changing hands in a short while. when homes change hands, owners and realtors try to dress them up a bit, make them more appealing to prospective owners, give them what's called CURB APPEAL. how can we add some of that appeal to make the white house 'look better' to passers-by??

Just wondering, because he got us into this war in Iraq that caused a rise in fuel prices. Or let's just say he was greedy and all of our gas money went directly into his checking account.Even so, The result: people began to buy smaller cars, we drive less and even buy hybrids to save money. A side effect of this MUST be a smaller carbon footprint by society as a whole. I wonder if there would be a way to measure the reduction of green house gasses that he has indirectly caused. sumpin to chew on..
