Nothing much. He is sending more troops over there to fight in a war that will never end. Bush says he needs troops there, and he really won't elaborate the real reason why. What gets me is that all of his followers are letting him do what Bush wants with no questions asked. The Republican Party looks bad because of Bush

Nothing I hope. I'm out here, and I see everything that happens in real time, you see it in a filtered and incomplete way via the TV. Al-Qaida is not only out here, but looks like they've been here for a long time.
They tell the local people that we kill and eat babies, that the red dye in our berets is from human blood, and that we have 'cold pills' that keep us cool in the heat wearing all of our gear. That's what they tell their own countrymen, use them, and than dispose of them like they were some kind of unusable remnant - then move on like locusts to the next village.
Yeah, we are dying out here. But at such an infinitessimal amount compared to other wars that lasted this long.....In the military we know that.
We do not go by the same frame of thought as the general public, that's why we are where we are - and are who we are. You cannot put the same thinking process in place. We are here by choice.
Rule #1 People die in wars.
Rule#2 You can't change Rule #1.
Yes the toll rises, but in relation to what. Besides I'm sworn to defend my beliefs and standards up to and including my own death. That was MY decision, NOT YOURS!
Stay home and enjoy your life. That's your oath. Let me perform mine, I'm not finished yet. there is no timeline here. It's done when it's done.

I get so worn out of the 911 argument. Osama Bin was once the rationale of that and we nonetheless do not have him. Why did Bush use simplest part measures in Afghanistan? He did not desire to trap Osama. But his daddy failed in Iraq so there needed to be an excuse to return and his minions figured it out and fed plenty of bull to congress to get them to conform to that warfare. I agree that Iraq and the leisure of the arena are higher off with out Saddam, however that is nonetheless does not excuse the lies or the price. Yes I accept as true with you.

They lost the war. It's over.
The surge failed, unless it was meant to thin down the ranks of our soldiers, or to give the insurgents live targets.
Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld lost the war, because they are individually and as a group irresponsible, inept crooks.
War's over. I just want to see how long it takes before the Decider figures it out.
Betcha that loser will be the LAST one to figure it out.

What are they doing?
They are continuing it. They are ignoring their own people, and the international call to stop. America is the new world terrorist.
We call it The War Of Terror.

They're doing absolutely NOTHING!!! And that's what's sad. They constantly ask for patience. I guess 5 years isn't enough patience.
