I want us out of Iraq.

When you really do your homework about Islamic culture, you see a durable 'anti-non-muslim-culture' mentality. We have seen this trend for the last thosand years, and the exceptions have been few.

Turkey is one exception, but these anomolies are to be expected. After all, Muslims are humans, and its hard to imagine any belief being 100% successful at brainwashing any portion of humankind 100% of the time.

Historically, we have had the "Turkey" exceptions, but there is no postive trend, irrespective of progressive technologies. Think of Islam more as a resistance to progress than a religion, and your much closer to the mark.

You will dismiss people like me as 'haters' until you get off your lazy toosh and do some hard study on the subject. Its truely is one of those things you just cant fathom until you pull back the cutains yourself.

Suppose the govt. survives. So what? It's still an Islamic country. It will have terror camps, as all do.

Staunch union supporter Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) has received the Cesar Chavez Award from the United Farmworkers Union. But the $25 million Northern California vineyard she and her husband own is a non-union shop.
Bill and Hillary Clinton have spoken in favor of the estate tax, and in 2000 Bill vetoed a bill seeking to end it. But the Clintons have set up a contract trust that allows them to substantially reduce the amount of inheritance tax their estate will pay when they die.
Hillary, for her part, has written and spoken extensively about the right of children to make major decisions regarding their own lives, including having abortions without parental notification.

But she barred 13-year-old daughter Chelsea from getting her ears pierced and forbid the teen from watching MTV or HBO.

During a time of war and many troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan, Bush should increase the VA's budget. Soldiers aren't "welfare moms".

FACTS

540 full-time jobs will be cut in the Veterans Benefits Administration, which handles disability, pension and other claims by veterans.

The VA projects that the new budget will prompt about 200,000 of the affected veterans to drop out of the system and get their health care elsewhere.

reduce the number of full-time VA nursing home beds to 37 percent below the level set in law by Congress in 1998.

Its a bit audacious and arrogant, in my humble opinion, for them to blow so much hot air about every single little thing. I am a neoconservative--and proud of it! I never find myself attacking anyone, nor do I claim to know everything. I try to keep my mind open. Why can't liberals? Who died and made them Queens?

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job."

Pretty funny isn't it? He ought to sub for Leno when he is on vacation.

Wage increases cause increased inflation and rising unemployment. This negates the effects of the wage increase, as goods become more expensive and fewer people have jobs.

I'd hate to see the lending rates caused by the rising inflation that would result from an increase in inflation. People and businesses wouldn't be able to borrow money unless it was at exorbitant rates. This would slow down the economy.

I'd hate to see the growth in unemployment caused by firms' inability to hire workers.

Do these people know anything about economics?

Governments, to have a reason for existing, must defend their people from other people's attack.

Therefore, do Governments, far from wishing for peace, carefully excite the anger of other nations against themselves?

And having excited other people's anger against themselves, and stirred up the patriotism of their own people, does each Government then assure its perpetual survival?

Or am I making the fallacy?

Why do some on the pro choice side (abortion), which is the side I actually support, though that doesn't obligate me to agree with every opinion and tactic of theirs, insist that there is some great hypocrisy in an anti abortion and pro death penalty/ given war position? I know many with such positions are Christians, and that supposedly that places them as being inconsistent to Christian tenets, but aren't there different reasons for the support and denouncement of the three issues? I think a comparison of the three issues is specious when used to determine the rationality of each respectively. Am I wrong? I'm rather tired, so if I'm not clear, I'll try to add additions soon to clarify what I'm asking.

Thanks.
