Strange set of morals they have: Pro war. pro death penalty, pro-big business, pro religion in government. Anti-science, anti-education, anti-civil rights, anti-poor, and anti- anything that looks even vaguely progressive.

You must be talking social conservatives. I don't know how they could decide what moral is. Seams like a moving target to them. One by why the ones who yell the loudest are exposed as hypocrites. See Tom Delay, William Bennett, Ralph Reed off the top of my head. I think it must be over compensation or something. You know the Jimmy Swagart - Jim Baker syndrome.

Because they're the only ones speaking. The only democrat I've heard pipe up lately was Kerry, and he botched the line. Where is the party leadership?
That being said, lets not pretend that the Republican Party has anything to do with "moral". Unless you count propositioning children, shady business dealings, subverting any law that's inconvenient (i.e. campaign finance), trampling the constitution, inspiring needless fear, encouraging hatred of gays and hispanics, lying about causes for war, and elections tampering to be Moral.
I won't tell you that the Democrats are any better, but lets have no delusions that the Republican party lead sinless lives. Politicians are dishonest people by nature, do not trust them.

They don't but they think they do. And, its THEIR morals they think are the right ones.
Of course their moral include telling you what you can and can't do as a consenting adult.
Forget the imorallity of killing 100's of thousands of Iraqis
Forget the imorality of thier position on the poor or sick in this country

People have different morals
I see what you mean by the Bush administration and Christianity?
In the end you decide whats moral and what isn't such as gay marraige etc.
Things like murder etc are basic morals. Religious or not.
We all have morals.

Because they paint everything in two colors: Black and White. They have a simple message: Outlaw abortion and ban gay marraige and they repeat those two mantras in the right-wing media echo chamber.
These so-called Christians have forgotten all the things their savior and his dad said. Things like protect the poor and the children (the ones that have been born - Christ never said anything about abortion), turn the other cheek, reject authority, judge not lest ye be judged, vengence is mine, etc.
Morality doesn't stop at abortion and gay marraige. It doesn't begin there, either.

How many conservatives on here answer this without another question? JUST ANSWER IT, your not cute.
Funny how they are the "moral" party, and yet with all the latest homosexual scandals coming from the right, we can finally see the chink in their flawed armor. Do as I say, not as I do.

They don't unless you go along with them. Just like enviormentalist don't get to decide what's good for the environment unless the rest of go along.
Be your own thinker. Be a skeptic when someone tries to sell you a bill of goods. There are no absolutes in this world.

They don't. No one can personally define the moral boundaries for everyone else. Except the law, of course.
