I agree. It has gotten to the point that I find myself thinking of voting against the candidates and ballot measures who have the most annoying ad campaigns.

Overall, I end up with a negative opinion of pretty much everything and everyone on the ballot - so I find it hard to believe the TV ads are effective.

The mailers don't even make it into the house, I loop by the paper recycling bin in the garage on my way in from the mailbox.

These last few days have been REALLY bad though. I am getting 5 or 6 phone calls per hour - ALL recordings asking me to vote for or against something.
We need a DO NOT CALL FOR ANY REASON list. I hate that political groups are exempt from that do not call list.

I cannot wait til the election is over with because the Democrats will have regained the government. And the commercials will be gone I guess.

I'm ready for it to be over with-- God help us if the R's hold on to congress. We'll never hear the end of it and we'll be screwed for the next few years with a do-nothing gov.

If the republicans win the oil companies will feel vindicated in their profit taking and prices at the pump will go right back near the 3.00 a gallon level.

it is all lies anyways once which every party gets into office they always forget there promises to the little guys and they favor big bussiness, and we always just get screwed in the end and they usually have a smile when doing so.
