The market is rising mainly because oil prices are dropping and the Fed has eased up. Anyone who thinks the market reacts to who’s in charge of Congress or even the White House doesn’t know economics and is ignorant of politics.

While i'm taking a break off from college this semester to transfer to a different school, I'm working full time making about 11/hr.

But most of the adults/young men/women my age who work there, and didn't go to college seem to all talk/act/walk the same way. Everyone uses the word F*** more often than hello, they don't have regard for anyone, and they all believe that 911 was an inside job/listen to rap music.

What the hell is happening to this country.

Has so much changed since 2004 in 2006 that we didn't realize was happening in 2004? Why did it take so long for most of the public to finally WAKE UP!!!

What has really happened in the past 2 years that served as the final "wake up" call? Just the continuation of nothing positive, or something specific?

I think instead of building walls and fences on the Texas border, that maybe we should start negotiating annexing portions of Mexico and Cuba (when Castro Dies). I think it’s a better idea to add stars on the flag instead of building border walls. Am I right or just dreaming of American Imperialism?

Election day comes and passes. Dems win in Ohio, Rhode Island, Montana, Pennsylvania, Missouri and Virginia. The new Senate looks to be 51 Democrats. Lieberman switches parties to caucus with the GOP moving it to 50-50 (GOP retains majority counting Cheney's vote)?

If this happens what would it mean for politics?

How could he have prevented numerous attacks since 9/11? You all should be thanking him for keeping you safe instead of bashing him. Hmm where would we be if Al Gore was in there? Would he have a terrorist survailence program or would his leftist base not allow it in order to protect the rights of terrorists?

When you see a homeless person, do you have to stifle the urge to kick him?

Are you CEO of a large corporation who wishes to keep your pay stub fat while minimizing costs to those pesky workers?

Are you super gullible, believing Republican campaign promises in Ohio to raise the minimum wage and that its better to unseat Saddam Hussein than go after Al Queda for 9/11? Can you repeat everything you hear on radio verbatim?

Do you take Jesus Christ as your savior, considering questioning the opinions of a church a sin that will condemn you to hell, and wish to condemn and convert all others who don't?

Would you sell your soul and sellout your country for a $200 tax rebate? What if you had to pay the $200 back at 500% yearly interest 10 years from now?

If you had to do one or the other: would you simply throw away fetus tissue or study it for medical research that could cure ailments like Parkinsons?

Are you afraid of them gay folk?

The top religous adviser to our president quits after it's alleged he is against gay marriage but apparently is for having gay sex with a male prostitute.

Chief party antagonist Rush Limbaugh parodies a crippling disease and an American icon, Michael J. Fox.

Chief party female/male antagonist Ann Coulter votes repeatedly in the same election.

We have no plan in Iraq and our soldiers are dying daily and no end to this senseless war is in sight.

Should we start to accept that we brought this on ourselves???

Should we just turn over the keys to the house and the senate and hope that a combined effort of world leaders, minus our chief twit could start to reverse the horrible course that has been charted in the past five years?

I think it's because they don't want to find him. The Bush regime needs someone for the people to fear...also the Bush/ Bin Laden family connections/financial ties...
Personally, I think if he does get caught, it will probably be right before Bush's term ends. It will all be staged, much like 9/11.

I'm becoming very confused by all of this. If the leader of the church, Ted H. was advising my president on matters such as a constitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage, while at the same time he was paying a male prostitute to have sex with him, doesn't that mean that the leader of this church really is for gay marriage?

Can someone help me straighten this out? Wouldn't gay marriage have been preferrable to gay prostitution???

"I didn't really want to get involved in the war," Kerry said in a little-noticed contribution to a book of Vietnam reminiscences published in 1986. "When I signed up for the swift boats, they had very little to do with the war. They were engaged in coastal patrolling and that's what I thought I was going to be doing."

But two weeks after he arrived in Vietnam, the swift boat mission changed -- and Kerry went from having one of the safest assignments in the escalating conflict to one of the most dangerous. Under the newly launched Operation SEALORD, swift boats were charged with patrolling the narrow waterways of the Mekong Delta to draw fire and smoke out the enemy. Cruising inlets and coves and canals, swift boats were especially vulnerable targets.
