I suppose if enough history is rewritten to be inoffensive and PC, then everything we've ever been told will be a lie.

Yes. The U.S. Navy ship, The Maine was not blown up by the Spanish and the Spanish didn't strip search American women on ships. Both were causes that led to the Spanish American War.
The Mexican America War was really fought because the U,S, kept wanting to change the boundries in favor of the U.S. The Alamo was an excuse to fight the Mexicans, since the Alamo was in Mexico after all.
The U.S. entered WWI after the sinking of the passanger Lusitania. The U.S. government said it carried no weapons. The Germans were right saying it did. Basically Americans used civilians as human shields.
The U.S. overplayed the entrence into WWII. Although the U.S. was attacked at Pearl Harbor, the U.S. was sending guns and equipment to England and China. There was also some battles in the Atlantic before Pearl Harbor. The Attack on Pearl harbor was a military failure with 90% of the ships and base operational after several days off attack. Although a few ships were sunk, those that purposely beach themselves survived to fight again. The aircraft carriers and subs were out on the pacific and never attacked.
The U.S. entered the Vietnam War over a navel fight that probably never happened.
Abe Lincoln changed the reason for fighting the Civil War more times that Bush about Iraq. One time Abe talked about freeing the slaves, yet he privately told a reporter that he didn't care what happened with the slaves. American Indians still held slaves years after the end of the Civil War until various treaties were made with them.
The Cuban missle crises would never have happened if the U.S. military didn't put nuclear missles in Turkey.

Yep, the war of 1776 when we broke from Britain it was rich persons war, the British and American peons were used as pawns for Profiteers. The Independence of Panama from Columbia was based on Lies also because the Americans wanted a Canal thru the straight they never really cared that Panama was free from Columbia. Just Columbia at the time wanted a cut in the profits in running the canal but America would not give to the Colombians

Wait a minute...9/11 was a lie? Oh wait no it wasnt so this war wasnt started b/c of a lie...so why dont you stop LYING. Get a clue dude seriously....this war was started b/c of terrorism and b/c of terrorists attacking us on our own soil. If thats not justification for war then I dont know what is................why dont you and ur other liberal tree hugging friends go on and start ur own lil community and we'll see how far you get with your "peaceful" reasoning for everything, always wanting to negotiate despite it being impossible to negotiate w/ terrorists. If we didnt go to war or if we leave this war now, then we become known as weak and we will never be feared nor respected by ANYONE for a long time...this will open this country up for many many more attacks that will cost alot more innocent casualties than this war...we finish what we started and we prove that we can defeat terrorism and we can change a whole damn country then no one will f*** with us for awhile...do it your way and we'll end up like Indians...GONE.

Uuh, yes. The invasion of Iraq was based on flawed intelligence that was "bent" to say what the administration wanted it to say. I call that a lie, at the best it could be called a deception.

The govt. inflated the Tonkin Gulf Incident to major proportions as a reason to start the Vietnam War. The second supposed attack turned out to be an american ship shooting at nothing at all, yet it was used as a reason to start the war.
