The POSERS are trying to get us to hate our own country.
The POSERS on yahoo answers are doing an excellent job on entertainment polls. They must be going after the druggies.

Would a male third party candidate have a better chance of winning? Would you change your party to avoid voting for a woman? Just a hypothetical question, no specific candidates in mind.

Why are his lemmings continuing to try and defend the indefensible?

His comments were absolutely disgraceful, shameful, and so far away from the attitude of a distinguished US senator its unbelievable.

I'm sure even Howard Dean knows how stupid Kerry's comments were. And that says a lot if Deano knows it was dumb

So now that they've belittled the troops, what are they going to campaign for next? Tax increases? Amensty?

Or are they to busy working on the Al Quada Bill Of Rights?

Isn't it about time for the administration to raise the terror level? You know, to lock in the mindless sheep vote, (which they pretty much own anyway.)

Seriously.........Mr Kerry, who is a senator of this country is a representative of the people, who apparently doesn't understand the meaning behind our service men/women desire to protect this country.......Oh and by the way, did you know that he was in Vietnam? And did you know that his Swift Boat Veterand spoke out against him? These guys served with him! They know first hand how unfit he was then and how unfit he would be as president....His 3 purple hearts were self inflicted wounds, that is why he had someone film his wounds,(to make them look real in combat)....How he as a leader of Vietnam veterans against that war, attended a meeting where plans were discussed to assassinate prominent United States senators who supported that war!!!And here he is a senator who supported the Iraqi war!
Go Figure...I think he is 1 brick shy of a full load. A little nuts.He thinks he is beneath apologizing for anything he does wrong...Thank you John Kerry for showing your true colors again

Dems WW 1,WW2,Korea, Vietnam,And lesser wars but of equal importance like the Seminole wars to protect settlers from Indian attacks a form of terrorism from1817-1858 with a major battle during 1835-1842 under Andrew Jackson .
Reps Philippine war , Spanish American war ,The banana wars ,and the Barbary war all for trade routes and money .Now we have the oil wars in the middle east under Bush 1-2 for money Again .
Seems like the dems are hard at work defending american values and fighting for freedom while the republicans are still fighting over money and trade .
I am tired of the spin that calls Democrats soft on war and terrorism ,when we have always fought the good fight .Often with much republican decent and lack of support .

John Kerry says he "botched" a joke about George W Bush and that the White House knows that.

Has John Kerry ever said anything deliberately funny? Examples would help. He just doesn't strike me as a humorous guy, hence the incredulity at his statement.

"If you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't you get stuck in Iraq," Kerry said. Essentially, Kerry was saying that our soldiers in uniform joined the military because they didn't do well in school and the military was their only option.

He later backtracked and said it was supposed to be a joke about Bush. But Bush actually had a slightly higher GPA than Kerry at Yale, so he couldn't have been talking about Bush's academic performance.

One could write this off as a "joke gone bad", except for the fact that it is not the first time Kerry has insulted our military. Also, there is really no way to interpret that comment as being anything close to a "joke".

It looks like John Kerry just gave the GOP another free gift right before an election.

HERE IS HOW GOP TRAITORS "SUPPORTED THE TROOPS" DURING CLINTON'S SUCCESSFUL MILITARY OPERATIONS IN THE BALKANS.

REMEMBER, NOT ONE AMERICAN SOLDIER WAS KILLED, BUT THESE COWARDS HAD TO UNDERMINE AMERICAN RESOLVE WITH STATEMENTS LIKE THIS:

"You can support the troops but not the president"
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

"[The] President…is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."
-Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy."
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

"If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy."
-Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W. Bush

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning...I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area."
-Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

"Well, I just think it's a bad idea. What's going to happen is they're going to be over there for 10, 15, maybe 20 years"
-Joe Scarborough (R-FL)

"I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our overextended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today"
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?"
-Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is."
-Governor George W. Bush (R-TX)

"This is President Clinton's war, and when he falls flat on his face, that's his problem."
-Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN)

"Bombing a sovereign nation for ill-defined reasons with vague objectives undermines the American stature in the world. The international respect and trust for America has diminished every time we casually let the bombs fly."
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)
