Pres. Bush will give the following speech tomorrow morning: " ladies and gentlemen, I am recalling all of our troops from all bases around the world. They are ALL coming home. Our foreign aid will stop. We will no longer provide relief to any country during natural disasters or man made events. Our borders will be closed as of midnight tonight and anyone attempting to cross the borders will be shot on sight. Foreign ambassadors in the US may stay only if they agree to follow our laws - no more immunity. We will keep commercial ties open with other countries except for military, space, agricultural or medical technologies. We will no longer cross-train with your police, firefighters, doctors. The United States will take the next ten years to re-examine its policies and interests as well as its goals. We are sorry for any inconvinience this may cause. Thank you."

shrubby cuts taxes for the rich, but there is no money to fund the government after the tax cuts, so we borrow a trillion or so from communist China. All of this money will eventually have to be paid back, but now we owe interest. Interest and all will have to be paid by our tax money, how is this NOT a tax increase??

Why don't you take the time to rate questions and answers? It seems to me that most Republicans don't do it here (rate) so they "think" that the Democrats are overwhelmingly present here. Thumbs up or down people, use it

President George W. Bush —Washington, D.C., Dec. 19, 2000

2006-11-01 05:02:20 · 6 answers · asked by Anonymous

Here are a few of his comments while he was a reporter.
"When it comes to federal spending, George W. Bush is the boy who can't say no. In each of his three years at the helm, the president has warned Congress to restrain its spending appetites, but so far nobody has pushed away from the table mainly because the president doesn't seem to mean what he says." The Detroit News, 12/28/03

"On the policy side, he has become a classical dime-store Democrat. He gladly will shovel money into programs that enjoy undeserved prestige, such as Head Start. He seems to consider it mean-spirited to shut down programs that rip-off taxpayers and mislead supposed beneficiaries."

If this is not one of the purer forms of hypocrisy, what is?

if liberals they hate our soldiers, do they want America to just have no military while other countries keep theirs? if that isnt anti-American, then what is? do they want a weak one while others are strong, or one thats just as strong as others because then it would be "fair"? why do they cut funding for the military? if they think they are terrorists, they are only doing what their bosses tell them. you cant expect someone to quit their job and find another one, or to just not do what their boss tells them. oh and cutting funding wont limit the military's control, it would only help them fail wars.

if liberals, incuding the liberal Republican Henry Kissinger hate the military in general (any military in the world), then what alternative would they suggest? we dont need military to have war, we could have something similar to tribal warfare, so screw the excuse that military "causes" war.

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

- John Kerry, in a 10/31/2006 speech for California gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides

No wonder he's known in his own neighborhood as The Moron from Massachusetts (or, at other times, The Junior Permanent Senator from Massachusetts).

I cannot believe what I read here.

Why is everyone so concerned with finding the 'lesser of evils?'

Why not take a step back and realize it's all a game, to keep people busy so they don't see the real problems that face all of us (ALL OF US, regardless of which political puppet party we like)

When clearly, looking at the past 6 years...the war on Iraq...the attack on our Constitution....the huge deficits....the inaction on the minimum wage....the growing ranks of the poor and growing disparity between the upper class and the middle and lower classes....the rise in Hate in America....the obvious and unashamed corruption in Congress......tacking internet gambling to Port Security bills....the lack of preparation for disasters (terrorist and manmade) over the last 5 years despite the enormous growth of government....the interference of government in our private lives...

How can people still say, "It doesn't matter who wins" when so clearly, so obviously...it DOES matter!

Ford (D-Tenn) also called for him to apologize.

He's done folks, put a fork in him. No more presidential bid. He'll be lucky if they don't run him out of town.

Now that Hillary has given him the thumbs down, he's done.

Agree?

As stupid as Kerry's "joke" was, he's not running for re-election and even if he was, there is nothing he could say that would get Massachusetts to vote him out. Ted Kennedy. Nuff said.

Does anyone really believe that any voter out there is going to change their mind about their candidate based on something some nutbag loser says?

Face it, nothing has changed. Kerry's a moron, so is Bush, and the Dems are still going to win back the congress.
