Moralistically, YES.. I'm sure it gives them quite a boost when they see how the countries Democratic leaders refuse to back the President and scream and holler for our Iraqi removal because "we can't win".. Quite a recruiting tool...

Keep in mind there were several democrats that did support liberating Iraq with their congressional approval. For the most part, I do not feel they act to support the terrorists. Rather, I think they do not have the stomach to tolerate the price that must be paid in order to fight terrorism.
Every soldier's death is tragic, yet, they took an oath to defend our country and our principles here and abroad. They have a job to do to protect the citizens of our nation. I do not find it a coincedence that there has not been a single successful terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11.
I think we need to stay the course. I think we need to help Iraq reach a point where they can police themselves and fight the insurgents that intend to pit the people of Iraq, Sunnis and Shiites, against one another in an attempt to thwart democracy. If we are successfull, the terrorists have one less supportive country to base their recruitment and training from, which makes us all safer.

Supporting our president only supports terrorism. Read the reports which the president tried to hide that show that his war in Iraq is creating more terrorists. If your parents or your children were being killed in Iraq, would you just say, "I forgive you America because I understand the deaths of my family was just "collateral damage". "I understand why you held me in prison for months without a hearing, and know you were just helping me appreciate democracy, justice and freedom as practiced in the US.

There are a lot of conservative republicans that oppose the president as well. Do they support the terrorists?
What a stupid question.

We have a right to disagree with the policies of the administration. Would you rather have a Fasc1st dictatorship where we cannot? I don't care if it puts a smile on the face of terr0rists-- we should not destroy freedom and limited Constitutional government for their sake.

the terrorists don't have the power to destroy our country or freedoms, only reactionary fearmongering politicos who would curb our freedoms for the so-called war on terror.
