It's hilarious how the multiple profile propagandist loaded your page with 8 profile statements (No make that 12). John Kerry just stated the truth about Bush's backdoor draft in Iraq. Now the Neocons are really scared, since they are chickenhawks and have never served. This won't matter though on the 7th, their done....TOAST!!!

Well, as to the more pressing matters, yes and no - it could also easily be argued that troop morale is of crucial importance, especially when they ARE off fighting a controversial war.

I think the feeding frenzy is pretty damned legit. I am both amused and horrified that we have the great Democratic spin machine rolling again - this reminds me so much of "depends on what your definition of 'is' is".

BOTH sides have plenty of guilt when it comes to blowing things entirely out of proportion, but as someone with loved ones in Iraq, I found his comments highly offensive. Proves yet again that Kerry is an elitist snob and totally out of touch with the average American.

Because of my job, I am forced to have CNN on all day. For two weeks, they spent hours covering the Foley story. They can't seem to find 5 minutes for the Kerry story. There's hypocrisy there but the hypocrisy goes both ways. Limbaugh and Hannity are doing the same thing. Tune it out because in the end, it doesn't really matter.

It's true it's sad, but Kerry really should have stepped up quickly, said he was sorry and that it was mistated and misunderstood. However, both parties pull this crap, e.g. Foley. There are more important matters facing our country. Just like I'm sick of the Dems only harping on what has gone wrong and how people should be tired of the current leadership. Just put up a platform already; tell me why we should vote for you, not why not vote for the other candidate. I think it's wrong to vote party-line anyway, please, just pick the best individual.

Its funny how its a conservative "feeding frenzy" about John Kerry's comments. Typical double standard thinking from a true liberal.

Let's take a look at the Foley issues, the liberals on this site went on for weeks about this. A few democrats even correlated being a republican gay and being a child molester (obviously gay people are not child molesters).

So quit being a hypocrite.

Nope.

It's just that the Democrats offer so few opportunities to hear their true beliefs and "ideas" and some folks get a little rabid when what they already know to be the truth is offered up in public.

No wonder this loser is known as The Moron from Massachusetts. He never did know when to keep his mouth shut. I guess when you're also The Junior Permanent Senator from Massachusetts and guaranteed re-election into the NEXT century you can go around spouting off all you want.

No wonder Queen Hillary the Great and the other worthies of the left get so annoyed with the guy. How DARE he continually let the cat out of the bag!

Anti-military, anti-business, anti-family - this guy hits the trifecta every time out!

I'm sorry that our love for our country and respect for our military interrupts you daily laugh, which the only way you could think its funny is if your freakin' high. Respect is something people like Kerry often forget and I'll take common courtesy over demoralizing democrats any day.

Kerry makes an off color comment, and the "Conservatives" have a feeding frenzy. Cheney makes an off color comment and the "liberals" ... what, have a picnic? Of course not. This isn't an issue of desperation, for anyone, it is an issue of politics. Making your opponent look bad is actually better for the polls than your opponent actually being bad.

It has only been two days' worth of severe criticism.

Unlike the week+ dragging out of the Foley incident by the Dems.

Sounds like you're being hypocritical to me.

Like calling Foley a pedophile desperate, or like Dan Rather making stuff up about President Bush desperate, or like Michael Moore's lies desperate?
I agree that there ARE more pressing matters facing our country. But BOTH sides have participated in the mudslinging, don't you think? The Foley thing wasn't that long ago!
That doesn't make it right, of course. But this election carries a lot of weight. The Democrats are DESPERATE to gain power, while the Republicans are DESPERATE to keep them out (that could have something to do with Nancy "NAMBLA" Pelosi, even many Democrats can't stand her), so what's going on now is natural, especially with us politically minded people.
I'm thinking in a few days, there's going to be another Republican "scandal" of some sort, and then the Republicans are going to have to retaliate. Who knows, Kerry's remark may have shown that the Republicans don't HAVE to retaliate.
Look, regardless of what Kerry's speech originally read, what he said, and the way he said it, was WRONG.
In politics, it isn't what you MEAN to say, it's what you really say that matters.
I almost feel sorry for Kerry. Almost.
