republicans, isn't this a tax raise?

shrubby cuts taxes for the rich, but there is no money to fund the government after the tax cuts, so we borrow a trillion or so from communist China. All of this money will eventually have to be paid back, but now we owe interest. Interest and all will have to be paid by our tax money, how is this NOT a tax increase??

It is, but it's not just the Republicans. There's plenty of blame to go around. But ya know what's even worse? Is that the generation that borrowed the money, our generation, will never pay it back. That chore will fall on our kids and their kids. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Quite a legacy to leave our children.

I love uneducated people who don't understand simple economics. First of all, I got a tax break and I am not rich by a long shot. If EVERYONE who works and pays taxes, gets a percent (say 3%) back, then no matter how much you make, its a cut. YES, a man who makes $100,000.00 a year will get more back, but look at how much he paid in as compared to say, someone making $50,000.00.

Do the math moron!!! NO President has ever given a tax break to just the " rich" and Congress wouldnt let that happen. If the Democrats are so good, why dont they support making the tax cuts permanent????

Ask your friends that question, along with, all these projects they want to implement to help the poor, the needy and such, where is the money coming from??? Thats right, the working people who pay taxes, so, who is pushing for tax increase????

One more thing, you talk about the rich, well, they got there by hard work and determination. Shows the American dream is real and attainable. These people also run the factories and have employees who work for them. When they get tax cuts, they usually up grade their equipment and put people to work, who pay taxes.

If you dont want the Government telling you how to spend the money you have, why cant the people who run and own factories and are rich, feel the same way???

For a start if everyone on Earth decided to chip in and help America pay it's debt. There is not enough surplus cash to do this in our lifetime.

Somehow the debts will be repaid. You can bet the farm, that the day will come that the leg breakers will want the money.

Because the point is that it will raise productivity and output. That may mean more actual taxes are paid, but the percentage is lower and people get to take more of their money home.

Less money also goes to the States, who in turn have to find new revenue, usually through taxes. Why isn't this a tax raise also?

By the way, our increase in expenditures is less than our increase in our GNP. That is a net 'savings' to our debt. Things are getting better!
