Seriously.........Mr Kerry, who is a senator of this country is a representative of the people, who apparently doesn't understand the meaning behind our service men/women desire to protect this country.......Oh and by the way, did you know that he was in Vietnam? And did you know that his Swift Boat Veterand spoke out against him? These guys served with him! They know first hand how unfit he was then and how unfit he would be as president....His 3 purple hearts were self inflicted wounds, that is why he had someone film his wounds,(to make them look real in combat)....How he as a leader of Vietnam veterans against that war, attended a meeting where plans were discussed to assassinate prominent United States senators who supported that war!!!And here he is a senator who supported the Iraqi war!
Go Figure...I think he is 1 brick shy of a full load. A little nuts.He thinks he is beneath apologizing for anything he does wrong...Thank you John Kerry for showing your true colors again

I was also awe struck that John Kerry said what he said. But what is even more mind boggling is that he tried so hard to turn it all back around on Bush, saying how the war was blotched just like his joke. My problem is I don't see how that could be funny in any sense even if it was trying to attack the president. I don't think the people should ask for his resignation, they should just not let him back in next time. Yes, one time or another politicians have screwed up what they were suppose to say, and at the time it was made a big deal of. However I highly doubt this fumble will be dismissed so quickly. Not just by the Republican party or the White House but by all those Red Blooded Americans out there. They won't forget this. And John Kerry's continued bashing on our troops who are just over there doing their job won't be forgotten either.

Mr. John Kerry is a pitiful creature! He will do anything to advance himself. He is not an example of any regular soldier who served in Vietnam. He has never been in turmoil about Vietnam. In fact he has never seen action because he served as a commander of a swift boat crew!

I don't like Kerry, but this is America and we still have freedom of speech. If a politician offends you, there is a process called elections and you can vote him out of office if he is your rep.
Otherwise, you just have to tolerate all the stupidity and nonsensse that they say. If I had a penny for every offensive or stupid thing Bush has said, I would be retired and living the good life by now.

Free speech is one thing. Insulting our men and women putting their lives on the line is another. He seems to feel his is better then anyone else. Its really getting old. If he runs for president again Please don't vote for this man. He has no integrity. At least he should apologies to the troops for the comment taken bad. He wants to be a king.

Nice thought but if we demanded politicians resign every time they make a stupid comment we would be having elections every few months.

A Democrat step down??? or resign????
There isn't one I can think of that would ever have the decency or respect for the American people or government to do that.
It is within their nature to lie, cheat, steal and blame ANYONE but themselves.............
Remember Clinton...... "it was that woman", yea right Bill, she raped you....

No, if anyone was going to ask for his resignation it would be Massachusetts not the whole country. But that would be a little extreme. I think an apology is enough.

Kerry spoke a very clear truth: If you unappreciate school, and underperform, your choices are fewer and you may have to get stuck in the military.

When did you last see a class honor looking forward to joining the ARMY?
