John Kerry says he "botched" a joke about George W Bush and that the White House knows that.
Has John Kerry ever said anything deliberately funny? Examples would help. He just doesn't strike me as a humorous guy, hence the incredulity at his statement.

I voted for him, but I don't think he's funny. I think he's stiff. Maybe he botched the joke and maybe he didn't. It really doesn't matter to me. In the end, I don't think he was trying to insult the members of the military.

No, he cannot tell any jokes. But you know what he is really good at doing? Being an inconsiderate *** hole. He considers himself a veteran but when you leave overseas after 3 months because he was "hurt" with a bruise and getting nicked with a bullet does not work for me anyway. Anyone who is not offended by his comments and not true Americans. John Kerry better not win any election in a long time or it says something really sad about our country. So, to answer your question. He has a stick up his *** and cannot tell a joke...

He's funny, just like Mel Gibson was when he was drunk recently.
It's interesting how these two incidents are so similar. Gibson was drunk and blurted out how he really feels about Jews. I don't think Kerry was drunk, but he's such an idiot, he apparently didn't know what he was saying when he blurted out how much he hates the military.
We should ask that he resign. Can we get a petition started? We don't need someone so full of rage and hatred in a high political position.

He really didnt even need to do his botched joke. Hes was out here trying to support Phil Angelides which in the polls it looks like Arnold is going to win he has quite a margin.
I cant believe Kerry is going to run again for president. He shouldnt waste our time he wont get elected.
I am looking to hear more from Barack Obama.

To John Kerry-Americans being tortured is funny . He gave aid & comfort to the Communist during Viet Nam-against his fellow soldiers-causing captured P.O.W.'s to be tortured every time he lied on his fellow troops .I fail to see humor there . he called America's finest in the Military stupid & uneducated on Monday & tried to call THAT a joke on Tuesday . I fail to see humor in that either . I am outraged and disgusted , once again by Senator John Kerry - who , by the way is honored in the Communist War Remnants Museum , as one of the heroes who helped the communists win the Viet Nam War AGAINST AMERICA . I don't find that funny either .

He may or may not have botched the joke. But we all know he wouldn't purposely call our troops idiots. Be real now, people! I do, however, feel he should apologize if he offended anyone by his comment because to the common person it DID come across offensive, although not meant to be this way. (This is if he hasn't already apologized, which to my knowledge, he hasn't.)

He is an idiot. If he wanted to say that the President was dumb, he should have just come out and said it. No one is dumb enough to believe he was taking a jab at the President although there are people dumb enough to defend him. He makes me sick. May he drown in a bat of ketchup.

I don't think the man has a humorous bone on his body. (but he does have a humures bone. sorry. little anatomy joke) now he's trying to pass off what he said as a joke? i don't hink anyone would buy that at this point. he is an embarrassment to vets everywhere
