Why are his lemmings continuing to try and defend the indefensible?
His comments were absolutely disgraceful, shameful, and so far away from the attitude of a distinguished US senator its unbelievable.

If he didn't mean what he said he would have corrected himself. He didn't, he stood by what he said because he meant what he said....he's a disgrace, unfit for office.

Not at all. He's been serving his country a long time, both as a decorated military man and as a Senator. His comments about our inept president were right on point.
It's plain you don't grasp fully what's been going on--here's a link or two to help you out...

See, Bush and the Republicans have everything to gain by distracting voters from the realities of where their policies have led. Their willingness to seize and twist Kerry's remarks is a testament to their desperation, this close to the elections.

On the contrary, he made a good point. Bush IS a moron, and he DID get us stuck in Iraq. Of course, Republicans are deliberately misconstruing what Kerry said in a shameful attempt to make political hay from lying about it.

If GW Bush and Cheney were both killed in Veit Nam who would be President now? Why would anyone support Draft Dodgers?
John Kerry is a real war hero. He served. I think Kerry should apologize, right after Bush apologizes for lies to all Americans about why we were taken into war with Iraq. Bush should also apologize to all service members for his lies. Bush should also apologize for being a failure at protecting Americans before Sept. 11th. when he ignored the PDB. Do you think Bush will apologize?

Standard English is the least of his problems. It is clear that he looks down on the military, views them with condescension and contempt, and his words contradict his supposed "respect" for them.
Dems have often displayed contempt for the military and moronic goons who couldn't do anything else with their lives. (But they "support the troops.")
And in typical Kerry fashion, it doesn't even occur to him to apologize. Nope. Instead he reminds us that (1) he served in Vietnam, (2) did you know he served in Vietnam? and (3) how dare they criticise me! I served in Vietnam!
Give it a rest, Senator.

jljack: I'd love to know when and how Bush "lied." Just some evidence, you know, to support your false claim.

It was a terrible faux pas. Speaking isn't the problem, it is the assembly of those thoughts into something cohesive

Try making several speeches EVERYDAY and not making a mistake once in a while! Just look at your beloved president to see the perfect example of someone who can't SPEAK STANDARD WRITTEN ENGLISH.
What a great example of the pot calling th kettle black! You're pathetic!
