I watched our local news last night and was sickened to see ungrateful people who my country had rescued on TV complaining. What had happened is right now in the Middle East there is some kind of fight going on, Israel is at war with Hesbuellah. They are fighting over Something or other, It doesnt really concern me. What Does concern me is, I am a Canadian and a Damn Proud One! Canada Had agreed to Rescue some of these people and bring them back to Canada FREE of Charge for them, Free is not really Free though, Canadians who pay taxes are footing the bill. Apparently most of these people Havent even lived in Canada in years, They somehow got dual citizenship but have not lived in Canada nor have they paid taxes to our government in years. I would not care so much but on our local news it interviewed several of the people we rescued from a war torn area and instead of being grateful They complained the boat had no A/C the food was not tasty and some got sea sick. What is your opinion?

I see people on the news protesting the Isreal/leabanon war in Canada. How in gods green earth does that help anything?! No one in isreal or lebanon is listening, plus lebanon doesn't make descisions, the Hezbollah does, because they won't stop bombing isreal. I beleive this doesn't help and is just angering people. ( I even saw a racist poster reading jews equal natzism, which is wrong and sickening). Is this helping at all or just adding salt to the wound?

Does anybody actually like CNN's Nancy Grace? Is her "Headline News" even qualified to be called real news, judging by how much biasness she injects to every show, pretty much assuming everybody is guitly until proven innocent.
I assume CNN qualifies her as a mediocre news host, thats why she is given limited topics to cover such as the Natalie Holloway case, the Michael Jackson case and the Duke rape case.

I'm only asking about one show, not all of CNN.

A guy asks a female coworker out for a meal, she shows up after work, he hits on her lightly.

After work a month later he invites her out once more like "we should get together"

Over the next 4 months later after nothing pans out, he notices a pattern of her flirting alot with black guys.

He says "i think you treat the brothers better than the white guys".

She claims sexual harrrassment and claims this comment plus she also was pressured to have lunch with him 6 month earlier?

Does she have a case?

We have the same enemies with the Israel. That's why I listen only to Fox news(as a majority of our friends). I found their coverage more balanced and pro-American

Since I have many many yahoo accounts, I always wondered if the threatening email I got from being reported actually meant anything?

After 2 years of being obnoxious from Yahoo discussion boards, to yahoo answers, I finally had 1 account banned. I can't log in anymore. I have been reported dozens of times and have all kinds of threatening emails from Yahoo telling me my comments were inappropriate.

It can happen, but who cares? The accounts are free and I have tons of them! Say whatever you want, it takes them years to bother banning you, so go ahead and exercise your freedom of speech.
