This one has been debated between Great Britain and Argentina for some time. By calling them the Falklands you are as much as admitting that they belong to Great Britain.
The Argentine's call these islands the Marianas or some such thing. The inhabitants of the islands consider themselves British subjects and lean towards the British flag. The Argentine claim has more to do with geographics more than anything.
The islands are just off Argentines southern coast. Yet, they're thousands of miles from Great Britain, so how can Great Britain lay claim to them?
The islands have very little commercial value, unless you're a sheep herder, which is what most of the inhabitants do. The weather there is horrible, so it has little tourist attraction.
To think that these two country's actually fought over these islands, is just a bit ironic.
Perhaps the two country's should resolve the debate of ownership, by agreeing to joint ownership. The islands otherwise, have very little value.

I think no. They belong to the UK and the UK won a war over them which helped put an end to an extreme right-wing military government in Argentina. Accept it.

Tricky one. The people who live there want to be part of Britain-but there's supposed to be a lot of rich resources in the surrounding sea.
Some kind of joint sovereignty would be fair in my opinion. Argentina should have the rights to exploit the resources off it's coast in the same way other nations do,but the people there should still remain under british law.

Falklands and the rest of the world - belongs to us all - its our world - and its about time we start to appreciate what God has given us rather then fighting for a small place (or massive) just to control over it

Argentina abandoned the Falklands centuries ago, thinking them worthless. It's only now because somebody else owns them they want them back, they think us owning them somehow diminishes their power.
What's more, the people there want to be British, I think we should respect their wishes.

No, they are controlled by Great Britain, although they are claimed by Argentina and are called "Las Malvinas" in Spanish.
