I still don't quite understand America's support for Israel. This is not new, the Isreali military has been slaughtering the children for years. It also seems that a lot of times when a reporter tries to get the other side of the story, they get gunned down by the Isreali's. I'm sick of the one-sided reporting going on here. The U.S. should join the U.N. and stop picking sides, both are in the wrong here to me..

Well that's a pretty graphic site. If children can be seen writing messages on rockets I'm supposed to believe terrorist groups can't get hold of those same rockets. Your question is a bit misleading as the message isn't all that sweet at all. The fact that children are playing around with these things is almost as nauseating as the pictures themselves. It really does go to show that as an American I've no idea what it's like to live in a culture like that of the Middle East so I'm not qualified to judge them to harshly for their actions. I do feel the United States has earned some criticism over this increasing violence in the Middle East. I've never suffered car bombs or rockets in my back yard but these people have and we went in there like Cowboys and disrupted the balance of power. I agree Israel has the right to respond to the terrorists but they've taken a policy from the United States and it's attack sovereign nations for the actions of terrorist groups. Disrupt governments topple them if need be in the name of the war on terror. Invade Lebanon under the guise of going after Hezbollah. This whole thing is a mess and the West is to blame for disregarding the structure of that country and countries. Preaching moralistic crap about God, country and freedom why these other people pay the price daily. We chose to give up negotiations while they were still an option and now there will be no negotiations, it's to late. If we wanted this to stop we would tell Israel "you go exact your revenge but we will not offer you military support to do it". I have to wonder if we aren't being lured by Israel into a war that we should avoid ?

No wonder the Middle Eastern countries hate us we support Israel they bomb them we evacuate our citizens and leave them to live with the consequences. If Israel wants their soldiers back let them get them without our help. Typical American democracy at work.

It would appear you have adopted the Palestinians' view of the conflict and believe terrorism against Israel is acceptable? I hope not.

Its very very sad when a Palestinian or Lebonese child or civilians is killed. The blame could go to Israel, or maybe to the Hezzbolah that fires rockets into Israel from the neighborhood where those innocents live? Which do you think is to blame?

If Hezzbolah simply laid down their weapons and surrendered the war is over; and there would be peace. If Israel did the same they'd be slaughtered. So know you know - which side is right and which is wrong; and you dear are backing the wrong side.

Leave the children out of this. Shame on you.

Hezbolah and Hamas have targeted women and children from up front and personal, by strapping bombs to their person and blowing up buses and markets full of women and children.

Do you think Hezbolah's rockets avoid children?

War shows an inhumanity to both sides. Don't think this is one sided. To do so prolongs the war on both sides.

Hezbolah rockets must stop - that is no way to treat a neighbor. Israel is solving the problem because Lebanon would not.

I hope the peace keepers get there quick and peace prevails soon.

Someone said earlier that if Hezbollah laid down their weapons, there would be peace, but if Israel laid down theirs they would be slaughtered.
Well, my learned friend (lmao) here is a history of how Hezbollah was first created, and WHY. Hezbollah was formed to "resist" the Israeli occupation in Lebanon. Action-reaction.. you know.
Action: Israeli occupation
Reaction: Hezbollah resistance
Hezbollah didn't exist prior to Israeli aggression.. so no the claim that "If Hezbollah laid down their arms there would be peace" is false. Israel attacked Lebanon even before Hezbollah existed. And this is true about most terrorist organizations. Terrorists are not formed in a vacuum. "War is terrorism of the rich and terrorism is war of the poor."

All of those who say that Israelis have a right to protect themselves, need to understand that so do the Lebanese. And how do they do it? They don't have missiles and planes donated to them by the US government, so they take the guerrilla approach. They are as much justified in their fight as Israelis are in theirs.

If those photos are real, God help us all. My heart is breaking. I have two beautiful children and I can't imagine what the parents of those little ones are going through - if they survived themselves.

Whether the photos are of Lebanese children or not, no children should have to ever be seen like that. We mourned when murderers flew planes carrying children into the two towers, why doesn't more of the world mourn when photos like this are shown?

It's just too horrible to consider.

Israel's conduct is appalling. My heart goes out to the innocent people of Lebanon who are being killed and injured. How awful to see these young Israeli children being indoctrinated into this web of hate. How can a nation that rose out of the barbarism of the Holocaust have turned into this? The west needs to stop supporting the Israeli slaughter!

I'm totally wrecked by looking at this.I appreciate that you inform me and others but I would have also looked if you were honest about it.
The horror just brings tears to my eyes.
But that would also happen if I saw all the Israeli victims of terrorism.
War always comes down on the weakest first and I feel for every child that has to suffer like that
