No, these squabbles are nothing compared to what we could face in 20-30yrs or so. As the population grows exponentially, world resources dry up (specifically oil, fresh water), and the planet heats up (whether from global warming or the earth's natural cycle) humanity will start to panic.

It's at this moment where we'll have a choice. The choice to work together to further mankind on this earth, or to fight and war over what's left of this planet. With dwindling resources and increasing population, we need alternatives for energy, food, and creation of fresh water. If we continue our wasteful lifestyles (we as in the planet, not just the US...although we're one of the worst) there will come a time when despite our countries wealth, not everyone will be able to run their air conditioners or drive their cars. People will suffer from the heat and frequent brown/black outs will disrupt our luxurious way of life. People in China, India and parts of Africa and the middle east will suffer for lack of fresh water. Quite simply, there won't be enough to hydrate the populations there. Even the US may suffer from water shortages. With the increasing heat from the planet, comes droughts and warm winters that will result in less snowfall in the mountains (which is where our fresh waters come from in the western US).

So, these squabbles now, are nothing. The voices of terrorists will become so soft and insignificant to the voice of humanity crying out for relief from itself. At that time we will all have a choice...continue to be an individual and fight for ourselves, an endeavor, despite short term success is doomed to fail, or to find compassion and community on a global scale.

Don't worry about today, worry about tomorrow. Act now for the sake of your children and their children. Or do you want to be remembered as the generation that foresaw the downfall of humanity and did nothing?

I don't think we will ever see WWIII. The world is in panic mode, and trust me it has been worse. The deal is that we now have the media to hype everything up. There's always been trouble in the middle east, and it's not getting any better. It's sad that we are so wrapped up in Iraq that now we can't be much of a help to the rest of the world. I don't know that there is a peaceful alternative, there will be force. It's the only way this can be solved, it's been allowed to go too far.

You ask a really tough question to answer and be absolutely correct. Why didn't you address that kind of a question directly to the Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense maybe, or just go all the way to President George Bush?

Well the former house speaker, Newt Gingrich was on TV recently with his opinion that we are already in World War III and just not have admitted it to anyone. He went on to tick off all the countries that are already involved in the conflict, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Israel, Syria, and the opposing forces, like all those names I can't yet spell like the Taliban, and the rest of them that really don't even have a country backing them. If you go back to WW I, when the Grand Duke Ferdinand was associated,, which resulted in WW I, there certainly does seem to be a lot more reason now to go to war than there was then--don't you think? So it is still up for grabs. And whatever happens in the near future, will decide the world war fate. Time will tell soon.

No WW3 is going to take place ever. era. The UN = the worldwide's a hundred ninety+ international locations. The UN shape is legally binding on all UN member worldwide places. The UN shape entitles the UN to call upon member worldwide places for militia tips. no one's going to initiate WW3 understanding that they had face a hundred ninety+ enemies. no one's that suicidal. no longer even extremist rogue international locations like Iran or North Korea. Then there is NATO to evaluate. The North Atlantic Treaty agency is human history's superior militia alliance. the final public of nukes in the worldwide are sitting in the arsenals of the NATO powers. NATO's treaty considers warfare with any NATO u . s . to be warfare against the full alliance. NATO 28 member worldwide places additionally includes the worldwide's maximum technologically-stepped forward present day militaries. it relatively is why the UN continuously calls on NATO worldwide places for militia interventions. no one's going to initiate WW3 understanding that they had face NATO. no one's that suicidal the two. NATO's why there became into no WW3 between Western international locations and the Soviet Union/pink China. the two the Russians and the chinese language backed down and gave up rather than be obliterated. So i do no longer understand what you notice, even nonetheless it is not something useful. certainty is, no one's going to initiate a third worldwide warfare so long via fact the UN & NATO exists.

There is always an alternative, the question is will all involved party agree to it.

I fear that the whole middle east is up to go up in flames and they don't care about world peace or any kind of peace.

peace requires a effort by all ,everyone . to be sucessful ,and everlasting is not to happen. the devil wants and needs the everlasting death machines to run red. you know in the old days of war the sword would be used ,and now we have more human ways ,more updated killings avalable. ww3 as you ask would be the big one. pray you are never to see that in your lifetime, peacefull alternative ,no sorry wont be possible as mans destiny has been laid in stone,in the bible,on the good side looks like ,we all only die once, and better to insure you not die without your god on your side ,as their is only one true god,and only true faith can get us sinners threw the gates of heaven.. hell ,well thats a giving for everone else as my belief anyway. so no ,no world peace, not untill god himself comes and takes us to heavin with him, rapture, but well just dont worry for these things as ,they are...

WW3 will not happen unless someone steps in and helps one of the sides in this isreal/lebanon war. I think there is a big chage (revolutionary) coming that will be good. I don't know why, i just think that (like the 70's one, except this time it'll suceed)

When you concider political conflicts with North Korea (again), China, Iran (again), Syria (again) and Iraq, plus all the countries already involved, yes WWIII is on it's way or already begining...

WWIII has already started. Would you be upset if the U.S. continued sitting back watching Israel vs. Lebanon? Or do you think they should intervene?
