The regional despots need someone to blame for everything that's wrong. They would have a hard time holding on to their power if they didn't have Israel as a common enemy.

No. Peace in the Middle East is a threat to the terrorists. They would have no place to go. They hide among women and children now. They are cowards who strike against innocent people who cannot strike back. They will not face a soldier on a battlefield because they would lose. They are cockroaches who deserve nothing more than to be killed-- with extreme prejudice, at that.
